The electronic component and the heat spreader are disposed on a top surface and a bottom surface of the flexible substrate, respectively. The HEX may further comprise a plurality of tubes coupled to the central manifold, the plurality of tubes comprising at least a first tube, a second tube, a third tube, and a fourth tube, a shroud at least partially encasing said plurality of tubes, and a cooling air flow path defined by at least one of the shroud, the plurality of tubes, and an outer surface of the central manifold, wherein the cooling air flow path is orthogonal to said plurality of tubes.

An aluminum alloy brazing sheet has a 3XXX, 1XXX or 6XXX core, an interliner and a 4XXX brazing layer without added Mg. The interliner has Bi and Mg, the magnesium migrating to the surface of the brazing sheet during brazing and reducing the aluminum oxide to facilitate brazing without flux in a controlled inert atmosphere with reduced oxygen.

An alloy formed of aluminum, nickel, scandium and optionally one, two or more further metals. The aluminum alloy is suitable for additive manufacturing of lightweight highly thermally conductive components for aircraft, such as heat exchangers. In a first step, a powder of the described aluminum alloy is produced by additive manufacturing, such as laser melting in the L-PBF process. Large grains are able to grow epitaxially along the build direction thereby increasing phonon and electron mobility along the build direction. With this, a higher thermal conductivity can be achieved. In a second step, the preliminary part is hardened by precipitation of secondary phases at 250 to 400 C to form the hardened part. 3D-printed lightweight parts with high thermal conductivity are obtained.

A single-phase fluid is pumped through a fluid circuit or loop, which includes the heat exchangers at the server racks and the outdoor heat exchanger. The single-phase fluid circuit including the heat exchangers at the IT racks may alternatively be in thermal communication with a water circuit that includes an outdoor fluid cooler. The flat tubes can be formed tubes with one or more channels, or extruded tubes with multiple channels. The heat exchangers include header tubes/connections, which facilitate easy fabrication and connection between rows and inlet/outlet, and lower the pressure drop.
