A method provides a sealed connection of a connector to a heat exchanger of the coaxial tubular type is particularly suitable for a motor vehicle air-conditioning circuit. The method includes the steps of mounting a free end of an external tube of the exchanger in or on the connector. The external tube is directly secured with the connector, and an internal tube is inserted in the external tube until a free end of the internal tube is mounted in or on the connector. This mounting ensuring a sealing between the internal tube and the connector. The method further includes directly securing the internal and external tubes against one another to avoid relative displacements.

SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER WITH COMPOUND TUBESHEET

Disclosed is a shell-and-tube heat exchanger assembly, having: a first tubesheet configured for being secured to a shell of the shell-and-tube heat exchanger assembly, the first tubesheet including: a first section and a second section; the second section configured to be secured to a first shell end of the shell; and the first section including a plurality of holes configured to support a respective plurality of aluminum tubes extending through the shell, wherein the first section is configured to limit a galvanic response of the plurality of aluminum tubes when exposed to a chiller water.

TUBULAR HEAT EXCHANGER WITH THERMOELECTRIC POWER GENERATION FUNCTION

A tubular heat exchanger, with a thermoelectric power generation function, includes: a thermoelectric power generation module 2 mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the heat exhaust tube 1; and a cooling pipe 3 mounted on an outer circumferential surface of the thermoelectric power generation module 2. The cooling pipe 3 is for allowing a cooling material to flow therethrough. The thermoelectric power generation module 2 performs thermoelectric power generation by using the outer circumferential surface of the heat exhaust tube 1 as a high-temperature source and using the inner circumferential surface of the cooling pipe 3 as a low-temperature source. The cooling pipe 3 is in tight attachment to the outer circumferential surface of the thermoelectric power generation module 2.

Heat exchanger and method for manufacturing a heat exchanger core with manifold

The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising first fluid inlets, first fluid outlets, second fluid inlets and second fluid outlets. Each of the first fluid inlets, the first fluid outlets, the second fluid inlets and the second fluid outlets are arranged on four different sides of a heat exchanger core. A manifold covers one of the four different sides of the heat exchanger core, wherein a first sidewall of the manifold is arranged at an angle smaller than 90 degree to the one side of the heat exchanger core which is covered by the manifold. An edge of the heat exchanger core between the one side of the heat exchanger core which is covered by the manifold and a neighbouring side of the four different sides of the heat exchanger core forms a common weld line with a connecting edge of the first sidewall of the manifold. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a heat exchanger comprising a heat exchanger core and a manifold.

A method includes providing a first metal sheet and a second metal sheet, printing patterns of a plurality of obstructers, a plurality of channels, an evaporator channel, a condenser channel, and a connecting channel on the first metal sheet, bonding the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet to each other, separating the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet from each other to form the plurality of channels, the evaporator channel, the condenser channel, and the connecting channel by introducing a fluid between the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet, introducing working fluid in the plurality of channels, and sealing the first metal sheet and the second metal sheet.

Heat exchangers with multiple flow channels

A heat exchanger can include a monolithically formed body defining at least two channels configured to allow fluid to flow therethrough, at least one of the at least two channels at least partially wrapping around or within at least one other of the at least two channels. In certain embodiments, the at least two channels can include a first channel and a second channel, wherein the first channel is at least partially wound around or within the second channel.

Plate heat exchanger

A plate heat exchanger includes a first plate sheet and a second plate sheet. A blocking member is disposed between a front surface of the second plate sheet and a back surface of the first plate sheet. The blocking member is located between a first corner hole and a second corner hole of the second plate sheet, and one end of the blocking member is located on a side portion of the second plate sheet. A first corner hole of the second plate sheet bypasses the other end of the blocking member to communicate with a second corner hole of the second plate sheet. In the plate heat exchanger, a blocking member is disposed between two plate sheets, accordingly fluid can be evenly distributed, and the plate heat exchanger has good heat exchange performance.

Boxed header for air-cooled heat exchanger

A boxed header is formed from an exterior side plate, an interior side plate, a top plate, a bottom plate, a first end plate and a second end plate. The top plate is connected to the exterior side plate and the interior side plate with welded joints that are formed at the juncture between J-beveled top edges on the exterior side plate and the interior side plate that support the weight of the top plate during assembly. Once the top plate has been secured, the boxed header can be rotated and the bottom plate is attached to the exterior side plate and the interior side plate with welded joints that are formed at the juncture between J-beveled bottom edges on the exterior side plate and the interior side plate that support the weight of the bottom plate during assembly.

COOLING DEVICE WITH EASY-TO-WELD STRUCTURE

A cooling device includes a partitioning board abutting inner faces of two boards, respectively. A chamber is defined between the partitioning board and one of the two boards. Another chamber is defined between the partitioning board and another of the two boards and intercommunicates with the chamber via an intercommunication port and a backflow port of the partitioning board. A pump drives a working fluid to circulate in the two chambers. Two welding channels are formed on outer faces of the two boards and surround the two chambers, respectively. The smallest distance between a channel bottom face of each annular welding channel and the inner face of a respective board having the annular welding channel is smaller than that between the inner and outer faces of the respective board. The two boards are coupled to the partitioning board along the annular welding channels by laser welding.
