Dry fire training device
A multi-function dry fire training device to be inserted into the chamber of a firearm, which comprises an illuminator for emitting, upon receiving a command from a controller, a beam of visible or invisible illumination from the barrel of the firearm, the beam being parallel to its central axis; a controller for controlling the functionality of the device including illumination of the illuminator, in response to activation of the firearm trigger; an actuator, being electrically connected to the controller, for activating the controller whenever being struck by the firearm striker and a power source for providing DC power to the controller and illuminator.
PORTABLE DRY FIRE PRACTICE SHOOTING SYSTEM
A portable dry fire practice shooting system includes a first base supporting a target. A second base is associated with the first base such that the distance between the first base and the second base can be selectively adjusted. The second base includes a portable electronic device retaining mechanism for holding a portable electronic device on the first base so as to align a camera of the portable electronic device with the target. A software application downloaded onto the portable electronic device utilizes the camera of the portable electronic device to detect light spots reflecting from the target.

Firearm training apparatus and method
A firearm training apparatus and method provides simulated weapon realism that places higher priority to shot placement by using a culminated laser beam with specific target areas to achieve marksmanship accuracy. Trainee shooters can visually observe hits by an LED in the target area and hear an alarm sound when another trainee is hit. Stress and reaction to stress is achieved through the use of a TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) units in vests worn by the trainees. Greater realism is achieved by eliminating special safety equipment required with projectile systems, and focus on weapon accuracy and firing characteristics.

Modular Trigger Mechanism
As disclosed herein, the technology relates to firearms including a modular trigger mechanism designed with the capability to provide a practice pistol that accurately and realistically mimics various models of center fire pistols and firearms. In one embodiment, a trigger mechanism comprising a static sear, trigger, and sear bar. In another embodiment, the trigger mechanism provides the user of a practice pistol the realistic sense of a center fire pistol trigger in that its positional geometry, weight of pull, weight at break, and trigger position at disconnect reset point, will perform within a realistic range.
