MODULAR ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR GUN STOCK
20170241738 · 2017-08-24 ·

A modular attachment system is disclosed having one or more surfaces designed to compatibly interconnect with a receptacle formed by a grid pattern of a structural support of a gun stock. The grid pattern can be an is a grid pattern, an orthogrid pattern, or a pattern having a combination of both isogrid and orthogrid portions.

HYBRID POLYMER LOWER RECEIVERS FOR FIREARMS AND METAL THREADED INSERTS, KITS AND METHODS THEREFOR
20170219305 · 2017-08-03 ·

Threaded metal inserts for polymer lower receivers and hybrid polymer lower receivers comprising one or more of such inserts, as well as kits and methods therefor are disclosed. A threaded metal insert has a substantially circular aperture configured with screw threads to releasably yet connectively interface with a separate traditionally threaded firearm component such as a buffer tube or a pistol grip screw. Inserts can be any overall shape so long as it can be integrally embedded within a traditionally threaded portion of a polymer lower receiver in a way that does not interfere with normal operation of an assembled firearm and leaves exposed the internal threading of the insert. Inserts can also comprise textural features on the exterior surface configured to permanently interface with and embed the an insert into molded polymer. A hybrid polymer and metal lower receiver is a stripped polymer lower receiver for an AR type firearm, such as the AR-15 or AR-10, having one or more such threaded metal inserts at least partially embedded in a portion thereof.

Fixed Barrel Firearm Configuration For Reducing Recoil
20170276444 · 2017-09-28 ·

Disclosed is a firearm configuration for a handgun. The firearm configuration is designed to reduce the recoil forces encountered by a user upon firing the weapon. It further includes a recoil plate that absorbs forces generated by the slide during firing. Recoil forces are reduced by lowering the firearm's center of mass and by aligning a recoiling mass with the user's arm and trigger finger. The firearm configuration further includes a locking block which prevents rotational and lateral movement of the barrel upon firing.

RECOIL-DAMPING DEVICE
20170321989 · 2017-11-09 ·

A recoil-damping device for a gun, in particular for fastening onto or in a buttstock of the gun, having a rear part and a front part which are movable towards one another against the force of at least one damping element. A locking device acting between rear part and front part is provided, which in a locking position blocks a relative movement between the rear and front part and in a release position allows a relative movement between the rear and front parts. A triggering element which can be activated by a shock pulse is further provided, which in a holding position holds the locking device in the locking position and in an active position releases the locking device into the release position. The triggering element and/or at least a part of the locking device is pivotable as a result of the shock pulse.

Firearm Recoil Control System
20170321986 · 2017-11-09 ·

A recoil control system includes a base portion having a main body with a flat bottom surface; a slide portion having a main body with a flat upper surface; at least one structure providing a sliding interface between the base portion and the slide portion such that the slide portion is slidingly engaged with, and can move forward and backward with respect to, the base portion; and a damper in communication with the slide portion. The recoil control system provides sliding interface between at least a portion of a firearm and at least a portion of a support used with the firearm and reduces the possibility of the support hopping or bouncing during recoil.

Hydraulic damper
11209068 · 2021-12-28 · ·

A compensating damper comprises opposed working end faces, a hermetically sealed chamber between the working end faces, and a set of plates in the chamber with a film of viscous fluid between each pair of adjacent plates. The damper has at least two different film thickness zones across the set of plates, each of the different film thickness zones providing a different resistance response when acted upon by an outside force exerted on at least one of the opposed working end faces. Multiple internal guide pins may extend axially from the opposed working end faces for engaging the plate stack partially from each of said working end faces to increase the stroke while providing for a compact damper. The plates may have a conical configuration to providing dampening in different plans.

Firearm stock

Firearm stock of the type which comprise an electronic control unit in said stock and comprising a receptacle with at least one opening in the stock comb and which is configured to receive a display device. It also comprises a battery configured to be connected to the display device and a control unit configured to receive data from the electronic control unit and send it to the display device. When the display device is installed it is housed in the receptacle and the user has visual access to it by the opening of the comb so that he has access to all the firearm information in his own line of sight when he is aiming. Furthermore, the stock is equally valid for left and right-handed people.

Variable port multi-piston gas-delayed blowback system for firearm
11204209 · 2021-12-21 ·

A gas-delayed blowback system for a firearm preferably includes a receiver, a barrel and a spring-loaded moveable slide. The barrel is ported to at least two gas compression chambers into which expanding propellant gases flow after the firearm is fired. The gas compression chambers and ports vary in volume such that propellant gas pressure increases rapidly in one of the chambers, thereby locking the slide upon firing. Pressure in the other gas compression chambers increases and decreases at a slower rate due to a smaller port size, further delaying rearward travel of the slide after the bullet exits the barrel and barrel pressure is relieved.
