A sling slider element has a frame defining an aperture, a rotor pivotally connected to the frame, the rotor received in the frame aperture, the frame and rotor configured to receive a strap, and the rotor movable with respect to the frame between a disengaged position in which the strap is free to slide with respect to the rotor and an engaged position in which the strap is engaged to the frame and rotor. The frame may include a pivot pin spanning the aperture. The frame aperture may be rectangular, and the rotor may be rectangular. The frame may be a planar body, and the rotor may have a planar body portion coplanar with the frame when in the engaged position. The rotor may have a handle element extending away from the planar body portion. The handle element may extend perpendicularly from the planar body portion.

A chest support sling for hands free transport with quick release of an elongated firearm or crossbow. In each instance, the sling includes a main strap adapted to being supported upon a shoulder of a wearer. The strap is connected at opposite ends to a pocket which is further adapted to be arranged to a side waist location of the wearer and to receive a butt end of the firearm or crossbow. A secondary support strap extends from the main strap and is adapted for engaging an extended location of the firearm or crossbow to maintain hands-free support when carried by the wearer.

The present invention is a rifle sling for use with a rifle having butt and barrel portions. The rifle sling comprises a one-piece leather strap comprising a central longitudinal axis, a fixed end portion, and a sliding end portion. The sliding end portion comprises a slit that is parallel to the central longitudinal axis of the strap. The sliding end portion being folded to form first and twisted second loops with the first loop passing thru the second loop to form a sliding knot. The fixed end portion comprises first and second slits parallel to the central longitudinal axis and aligned with each other. The fixed end portion being folded to form a loop that is passed thru the first and second slits to form a fixed knot. Unlike conventional rifle slings, the rifle sling of the present invention does not employ any hardware.

A targeting system comprising a helmet, primary firearm, and secondary firearm. The helmet includes a helmet display. a primary firearm comprising: a receiver, a primary barrel, a primary camera, a swivel control, a first mounting point, a first display, and a second display. The secondary firearm includes a camera and a secondary barrel. The computing device comprises an user interface. The control circuit is coupled to the helmet, the firearm apparatus, and the user interface. The primary barrel is functionally coupled to the receiver. The helmet display is a heads-up display. The swivel control is functionally coupled to the secondary firearm. The secondary firearm is rotatably coupled to the first mounting point. The control circuit is configured to capture and convey images and video; receive a targeting instruction on the secondary firearm from the user interface; and instruct the swivel control to acquire a sight picture.

A sling apparatus that improves user comfort and weapon stabilization and that can be easily converted to and from single-point configuration, two-point configuration, and body armor configuration. The configuration flexibility and ease of conversion allows the user to tailor the sling apparatus to user preferences or environment. In any configuration, the sling improves the user's ability to stabilize the weapon, enhances the comfort of the user, secures the weapon more tightly to the user's body for increased weapon control, and provides an integrated source of paracord that can be utilized in emergency situations.

A firearm stabilizing device includes a base that is attached or attachable to a garment. The base includes an array of one or more magnets, at least one of the magnets of the array being an attractive magnet configured to cause a firearm magnet that is incorporated into a stock of the firearm to adhere to the base when brought into magnetic range of the attractive magnet. A tether connection structure is configured to enable mechanical suspension of the firearm from the base when the attractive magnet does not cause the firearm magnet to adhere to the base.

Firearm harnesses suitable for securing a firearm on a firearm user may include a harness strap including a main strap segment. A rear securing assembly may be provided on the main strap segment. The rear securing assembly may include a rear securing strap segment extending from the main strap segment of the harness strap. A rear main strap segment end may terminate the rear securing strap segment. A releasable rear securing strap connector may releasably secure the rear main strap segment end of the rear securing strap segment to the main strap segment of the harness strap. A front securing assembly may be provided on the main strap segment of the harness strap in spaced-apart relationship to the rear securing assembly. The front securing assembly may include a front securing strap carried by the main strap segment. A releasable front securing strap connector may releasably secure the front securing strap between fastened and unfastened configurations.

The invention concerns a gun sling, gun equipment set, and methods of carrying a gun. The sling comprising a strap, a first buckle through which the strap passes so as to form a first length-adjustable loop, a second buckle through which the strap passes so as to form a second length-adjustable loop, a first gun attachment swivel arranged to the first loop, and a second gun attachment swivel arranged to the second loop. According to the invention, the strap is unitary and the first and second gun attachment swivels are capable of freely running along the first and second loops, respectively. The invention allows for versatile carry methods of rifle-type guns.

A tactical vest system may include: a tactical vest; a power unit connected or connectable to the vest comprising a power supply; a sling connected or connectable to the vest for connecting to a rifle and suspending the rifle from a shoulder a user wearing the vest; and an electrical wire connected or connectable at one end of the wire to the power unit and connected or connectable at another end of the wire to electronic device mounted on the rifle, to provide power to the electronic device.
