Mounting assembly for a firearm

The present disclosure provides a mounting assembly for a primary firearm, which may include a non-recoil reducing cradle pivotably coupled to a carriage configured to mount a selectively removable shield assembly. The mounting assembly includes a quick release pintle adaptor locking mechanism, which aids in the rapid mounting and dismounting of a secondary firearm to the mounting assembly.

That side, however, can be changed to the right or left side of the road, depending on the end to which the truck attaches. An armored vehicle, or battle tank, has a turret, the backplane of which has a hatch allowing access to an inner volume of the turret from the inner volume of the vehicle body. The access hatch has a rectangular-shaped opening and includes a plate for closing up the opening in the form of a plurality of sectors able first to slide in a translational movement in a horizontal movement section and next to be stacked on one another in a vertical stacking section, during the opening of the hatch, the sections being located superimposed in or above the backplane. The access hatch sectors and the backplane include ballistic protection in the form of a metal armor plate covered with an anti-spall coating.

A ball turret includes a turret shell having a rear portion and a front portion. An integrated GPS tracking device. The rear portion and the front portion are assembled to form the turret shell. The shell includes a block assembly configured to mount to a mounting element of a weapon system, and a yoke carriage assembly configured to receive and mount to the block assembly. A number of guide rods within the turret shell are configured to mount the yoke carriage assembly thereto and to provide a recoil shock absorber in response to a discharge of the weapon system. The yoke carriage assembly is releasably mounted to the block assembly.

A ball turret includes a turret shell having a rear portion and a front portion. An integrated GPS tracking device. The rear portion and the front portion are assembled to form the turret shell. The shell includes a block assembly configured to mount to a mounting element of a weapon system, and a yoke carriage assembly configured to receive and mount to the block assembly. A number of guide rods within the turret shell are configured to mount the yoke carriage assembly thereto and to provide a recoil shock absorber in response to a discharge of the weapon system. The yoke carriage assembly is releasably mounted to the block assembly.

A Remote Controlled Weapon Station is provided wherein it comprises a weapon mounting bracket that is remotely adjustable in elevating/lowering and a rotatable turret assembly adapted to be mounted on vehicles, remotely adjustable in rotation, and wherein the weapon mounting bracket is pivotally mounted on it, and the Remote Controlled Weapon Station is converted into a remote controlled Non Lethal weapon station by that at least one non lethal means is installed in it, chosen from a group consisting ofa multi barreled means for firing grenades; multi-barrels launcher means for pyrotechnically firing plurality of charges; acoustic means for producing tones; illuminating means; observation means and means for providing sniper firing capabilities of small caliber kinetic bullet.
