BULLET PROOF BARRIERS
A method of using an anti-ballistic protection system for protecting an interior space in a building. The ballistic barrier includes a laminated material having a plurality of layers of lightweight, flexible, ballistic resistant material such as woven sheets which are secured together into the laminate using a adhesive, heat weld, or stitching. The ballistic barrier in the deployed state is configured to be resistant to penetration by high-speed ballistic projectiles such as a bullet fired from a gun or a shrapnel from a bomb to protect the interior space, and can be used to protect windows, doors, hallways, and walls from penetration by the ballistic projectiles.
FRUSTUM EMBEDDED FABRICATED COMPOSITE PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE
A frustum embedded fabricated composite protective structure is provided, including a restraint frame, a back plate, an infill block and a buffer block. The restraint frame is provided with a plurality of mounting holes matching with the shape of the infill block, the restraint frame is arranged on the back plate, the infill block is in a frustum shape. The buffer block and the infill block are installed in the mounting hole of the restraint frame, the buffer block is arranged on the smaller end of the infill block, and the infill block is wedged into the mounting hole of the restraint frame through a wedge surface mating. Because this protective structure is assembled by multiple restraint frames and infill blocks, under the prestress restraint of partition blocks, the damage range after penetration or explosion will be significantly reduced, and it can withstand multiple blows.
BULLET RESISTANT GARAGE DOOR ASSEMBLY AND KIT THEREFOR
A ballistic garage door assembly and a kit for converting a standard garage door uses sheets of ballistic material secured to the exterior shell of the standard garage door panels along with inserts at the joints between adjacent garage door panels. Joint inserts applied to the horizontal ends of the garage door panels provide bullet resistant characteristics at the joints. Aluminum sheets with multiple plies of ballistic material between the aluminum sheets are applied to the entire garage door shell. Insulated foam is place on the innermost aluminum sheet to provide additional ballistic performance for the converted garage door. Increased levels of ballistic protection will utilize thicker aluminum panels and an additional external ballistic bumper to increase ballistic performance of the joints between the garage door panels. The outward aesthetic appearance of the garage door does not change appreciably, although a door lift with greater horsepower may be required.

BUILDING ELEMENTS AND STRUCTURES HAVING MATERIALS WITH SHIELDING PROPERTIES
A shielding system includes a plurality of transportable modules, wall panels, or pods that are connectable to form a containment area and to define a radiation barrier. Each of the plurality of transportable modules has a first radiation wall defining the containment area, a second radiation wall spaced apart from the second wall, and a radiation shielding fill material positioned between the first radiation shielding wall and the second radiation shielding wall. The radiation shielding fill material includes one of a superabsorbent polymer (SAP) filling a portion of a void between the first radiation wall and the second radiation wall, or a non-Newtonian fluid completely filling the void between the first radiation wall and the second radiation wall. A quantity of the radiation shielding fill material is sufficient to substantially reduce measurable radiation level outside the containment area.

Security door
A stile and rail ballistic security door containing bullet proof materials within a metal or synthetic material frame including a plurality of window panes and thermal break means to eliminate condensation problems therein. The door contains a multi-layer exterior core providing extra strength and rigidity.
Mobile barrier
In one embodiment, a safety trailer has semi-tractor hitches at both ends and a safety wall that is fixed to one side of the trailer. That side, however, can be changed to the right or left side of the road, depending on the end to which the truck attaches. A caboose can be attached at the end of the trailer opposite the tractor to provide additional lighting and impact protection. Optionally, the trailer can be equipped with overhead protection, lighting, ventilation, onboard hydraulics, compressors, generators and other equipment, as well as related fuel, water, storage and restroom facilities and other amenities.
