Directed energy delivery systems capable of disrupting air-based predatory threats
An apparatus includes a capsule configured to be launched or carried towards an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The apparatus also includes a directed energy device within or carried by the capsule. The directed energy device includes a first inductor configured to generate an inductive magnetic field that is able to inductively couple into one or more electronics of the UAV in order to disable or destabilize the UAV. The capsule can be configured to be launched towards the UAV and can include a loiter mechanism (such as a rotor, umbrella, or parachute) configured to maintain a position of the capsule or to slow a descent of the capsule after launch. The capsule can also be configured to be carried towards the UAV by a different UAV, and the apparatus can further include a tether coupling the capsule to the different UAV.
COUNTER UAV DRONE SYSTEM USING ELECTROMAGNETIC PULSE
In general, the present invention is directed to airborne security measures and more specifically to a device and method to defeat in total a plurality of approaching Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) with a single sacrificial intercepting drone. In a preferred embodiment of the invention the intercepting drone may be configured with an attached Electro-Magnetic Pulse (EMP) generation device capable of producing a sufficiently intense EMP burst to completely disable all approaching UAVs.
Method of irradiating electromagnetic pulse and electromagnetic pulse irradiating system
A method of irradiating an electromagnetic pulse includes specifying a position of a target having electronic equipment; setting the light-condensing point based on the position of the target; and condensing the laser beam to generate plasma in the light-condensing point such that the electromagnetic pulse generated from the plasma is irradiated to the electronic equipment. In this way, a method and system for irradiating an electromagnetic pulse are realized which can irradiate the electromagnetic pulse of a large output while restraining diffusion of the electromagnetic pulse.
Anti-unmanned aerial vehicle defense apparatus, protective device for fighting an unmanned aircraft and method for operating a protective device
A defense device for combating an unmanned aircraft includes a communications device configured for receiving communications information transmitted by at least one external signal source, an emitting device configured for producing and emitting a high-energy electromagnetic pulse in the event of triggering of the emitting device, and a control device configured to trigger the emission of the high-energy electromagnetic pulse depending on communications information received by the communications device. A protective configuration for combating an unmanned aircraft and a method for operating a protective configuration are also provided.
Vehicle defense projectile
A projectile round for intercepting an incoming threat to a vehicle or the like is provided. The projectile round may include an explosive layer, which upon detonation, may cause a the fracturing of one or more material layers into one or both of shrapnel and chaff while simultaneously causing the distortion and/or destruction of a piezoelectric material contained within the projectile round. The distortion and/or destruction of this piezoelectric material may further cause the release of an electromagnetic pulse. The projectile round may be part of a countermeasure system against guided munition threats, including those posed by man-portable air defense systems.
Stealth method by use of three-dimensional spraying
The invention discloses a stealth method by use of three-dimensional spraying. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly photographing an object target on the ground and then archiving photos to obtain three-dimensional spraying data fused with the surrounding geographical environment through computer simulation design; producing corresponding three-dimensional spraying templates according to the three-dimensional spraying data; producing desired three-dimensional spraying equipment; producing special spraying coating for three-dimensional spraying; spraying the special three-dimensional spraying coating on surfaces of the object target on the ground by means of the three-dimensional spraying equipment according to the three-dimensional spraying data; and erecting and deploying electromagnetic jammers and GPS jammers around the object target on the ground so that space, sky and ground electromagnetic detection equipment and GPS positioning detection equipment of the attacker are effectively interfered and suppressed in the full frequency band.

System for deploying a first object for capturing, inhibiting, immobilising or disabling a second object
A system for inhibiting the electronic system of a target object is provided. The system comprises an Electronic Counter Measure (ECM) unit, and a projectile for carrying the ECM unit towards the target object.
Device Deterring Movement of a Detainee
A device for deterring movement of a detainee adapted to dispense pulsed electric current to a human's epidermis and dermis. The pulsed electric current can interfere temporarily with muscular locomotion of the detainee. Embodiments of the device for deterring movement of a detainee include, but are limited to bands, gloves and vests.
RADIATION SOURCE FOR MICROWAVE PULSES AND RADIATION DEVICE
A radiation source for emitting an electromagnetic HPEM microwave pulse contains a microwave generator for generating the pulse. The generator has a generator opening for outputting the pulse. A horn structure is provided for shaping the pulse. The horn structure has an input opening, which is connected to the generator opening and is intended to radiate in the pulse, and an emission opening for emitting the shaped pulse. The generator contains at least two pulse sources for respectively generating a pulse component. The pulse is the sum of the pulse components. A radiation device contains such a radiation source and a control device for triggering the pulse sources in a temporally synchronized manner for the purpose of respectively emitting a pulse component.
