Tennis-Stroke Trainer Device
A tennis-stroke trainer device is an apparatus that allows a user to perform various tennis strokes repetitively. The apparatus includes a frame, a training ball, a pair of length-adjustable fasteners, and an elastic cord. The frame offset and rotates the training ball around a post. The post is preferably a tennis post. The frame includes a U-shaped bracket, a cantilever arm, a counterfort arm, and a hook. The U-shaped bracket offsets and mounts both the cantilever arm and the counterfort arm with the post. The hook stretches the elastic cord along the cantilever arm. The training ball is preferably a large foam ball and serves as a target for the user. The pair of length-adjustable fasteners mounts the U-shaped bracket with the desired post. The elastic cord retracts the cantilever arm and the counterfort arm, and consequently the training ball after the training ball has been hit by the user.
VOLLEYBALL HITTING TRAINING DEVICE
A volleyball training apparatus has a laterally extending arm supported on a riser. A resilient member such as a spring is operably connected within the arm. The resilient member is connected to a flexible connector, such as a cable, that is connected to a volleyball. A series of spacers retains the volleyball away from the rigid arm. The height of the arm may be adjustable to locate the volleyball at a desired height. After a user strikes the volleyball, the volleyball is displaced from its original static position, but quickly is snapped back into the static position by the resilient member pulling the volleyball toward the arm against the spacers.
Racket golf
Racket Golf is a golf-style game intended for leisure and friendly competitive play used in common recreational areas such as backyards, parks, beaches, paved surfaces, and within large building spaces. It consists of a Racket Golf club designed to strike a plastic projectile toward a moveable target hole. The Racket Golf club may include string webbing similar in configuration to a tennis or badminton racket. The Racket Golf projectile consists of a ball and tee which in one embodiment are separate pieces and in another embodiment are attached to one another. The tee would serve to hold the striking surface of the projectile above the playing surface, and in the attached version, would also limit the projectile's flight after it had been struck. The target hole is ring-shaped that may include a raised ramp about its circumference. The target hole can be moved about during play to change the difficulty or to adjust the playing par. Alternatively, the target hole can be left in place, but approached from various starting positions to vary the playing course.
Sports ball training or simulating device
A ball training or simulating device is provided. The ball training or simulating device comprises a modified ball coupled to a base by a motion transfer member. The modified ball allows for a lower, more natural, ball position, while the shape, position, and configuration of the motion transfer member provide for a verisimilar kicking experience. The ball training and/or simulating device can be coupled to a computing device to allow input from the modified ball to be used in a simulated or augmented reality game.
Batting training device
A batting training device is disclosed that incorporates a ball arranged secured in an aerial position in order to be batted; has a column, wherein a tube is incorporated, arranged vertically with axial freedom of movement, an elastic cord passing through the tube, the lower end of which is fastened to the lower end of the tube, while the ball is fastened at the upper end of the elastic cord. The ball rests on the upper end of the tube. The tube is made up of segments, each segment provided on the outside with a guide slot with respect to a rod, has a bend that communicates with the slot of the adjacent segment, except for in the last lower segment, wherein the bend in the corresponding slot communicates with a return channel running along the entire length of the tube and communicates with the slot of the upper segment.
Golf swing training aid
This invention relates to a golf swing training aid useful for training swing speed and swing efficiency. The inventive swing training aid includes a golf club shaft that has open proximal and distal ends and a grip. The interior of the shaft is a hollow chamber and the diameter decreases gradually from the proximal end to the distal end. A cable is captured within the hollow chamber and extends from the distal end of the shaft, terminating in an integrally formed attachment loop. A weighted ball is removably linked to the attachment loop by a connector.
Practice Device
A practice device includes a base, a support tube, a post, an axle, a first ball rod, and a brake. The support tube extends upward from the base and has a support tube longitudinal axis. The post extends from the support tube and has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is engaged with the support tube and the second portion includes a first arm. The axle is coupled to the first arm and has a rotation axis. The first ball rod is coupled to a first practice ball and extends between the first practice ball and the axle. The first ball rod is coupled to a first practice ball and extends between the first practice ball and the axle. The first ball rod is configured to rotate about the rotation axis of the axle and when the first ball rod rotates about the rotation axis of the axle, the first practice ball contacts the brake to slow rotation of the first ball rod.
Two ball, ball striking trainer
The present invention is a ball sports, ball striking, practice and teaching aid which provides a unique two ball, ball striking practice design, that includes a fixed yet displaceable and self resetting ball and a second free to fly ball that is catapulted or tossed by using the energy that is provided by the force of impact between the fixed ball and a ball striking implement, for example a tennis racket or baseball bat, said fixed ball is situated at the uppermost end of a rigid, geniculated, longitudinally governed, displaceable, and self resetting wand, which crowns a rigid, unyielding, upright post that is affixed to a portable base of sufficient mass and weight to hold the upright post firmly in a perpendicular to the base, upright position.
A POSITION OR SCORE INDICATOR FOR A GAME
A position or score indicator for a game such as swingball comprises a casing, moving score indicators 8,9 on opposite external sides of the casing, an internal gear drive system, and an external arm to which equipment for playing a game is attached and which when drives the internal gear drive system to move the score indicators to indicate player scores.
