Head alignment training device and method
A training device and method for aligning the position of an athlete's head for a given athletic endeavor. The device being comprised of a plurality of apertures within at least one opaque lens surface positioned in front of the athlete's eyes. Fixed or adjustable length orbitally positionable, modules may be placed in apertures within the desired viewing area to restrict peripheral vision. The remaining apertures are plugged to block light allowing the wearer to focus on the target area.
Golf Swing Tracking System
A golf swing tracking system includes a wearable device. The wearable device has a camera, a processor and a signal transceiver. The camera is connected to the processor. The processor is in connected to the signal transceiver. The golf swing tracking system further includes an electronic device. The electronic device includes a signal receiver. The signal receiver is designed to receive a collection of data from the signal transceiver of the wearable device. The electronic device has a display and is programmed to execute an application. The application is designed to display the collection of data and to transmit the collection of data to a network, such as a social media network.
Wrist worn monitoring device
A wrist worn muscle movement monitoring device includes a wrist strap; a sensor that responds to muscle movement at a wrist wearing the wrist strap; and monitoring circuitry connected to the sensor.
Exercise apparatus for strengthening the hips and associated musculature
An exercise apparatus for strengthening the hips that includes a belt adapted for being tightly secured around the hip area of a user and a resistance band attached to the belt at a position wherein the resistance band resides proximate the hips. An anchor is provided for attaching a distal end of the resistance band to a support generally at a level with the hips whereby rotating the hips applies resistance to the hips providing strengthening resistance to the hips. A method of using the apparatus is disclosed.
GOLF SWING TRAINING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a golf swing training device comprising right and left elbow supports with attachment means and a back/posture support having waist side attachment means. An elastic band removably connects the right elbow support to the left elbow support. The waist band of the back/posture support contains left and right side attachment means for removably connecting the waist to the left and/or right elbow supports.
SPORT TRAINING RESISTANCE BANDS
The sport training device includes a lower pair of resistance bands attached at a first end to a belt positioned around the waist of a user and at a second end to an ankle portion at an ankle of the user. An upper pair of resistance bands is attached at a first end to a shoulder portion at each shoulder of the user, at a second end to a leg portion that attaches proximate to each knee of the user and at a middle portion to the belt. A primary pair of resistance bands is attached at a first end at the shoulder portion, at a second end at the ankle portion and at a middle portion to the belt. Each pair of resistance bands strengthens a different portion of the body useful for the ideal golf swing.
Golf swing training device
A golf swing training device having components that may be worn by a user during a golf swing. The device may include a belt portion, a stretchable connecting member, and a glove, which is worn on a user's leading hand when swinging a golf club. The glove may include a harness that wraps around a user's hand. To use the golf swing training device, a user fastens the belt around their midsection so that it is snug. One end of the connecting member may be attached to the belt at the appropriate attachment point and the other end may be attached to the glove or harness. As the user begins their backswing, the connecting member stretches and provides resistance to the hand. The stretched connecting member promotes proper club head alignment in the backswing and forward swing.
Electronic tracking system with heads up display
Electronic tracking systems are disclosed for assisting users with locating objects in a sporting environment. One such system includes a ball tracking component that tracks a game ball while moving in the sporting environment, and a heads up display that is worn by the user. This heads up display has an electronic display screen with a transparent display area that dynamically displays images within the user's field of view. A processor, which communicates with the ball tracking component and heads up display, is programmed to detect movement of the game ball, and responsively determine launch characteristics and/or flight characteristics of the moving game ball. The heads up display displays the launch/flight characteristics contemporaneous with an object indication adjacent to or superimposed over the moving game ball as the game ball is visible through the transparent display area of the display screen within the user's field of view.
Golf swing training aid
A golf swing training aid comprises a set of components which include a substantially cylindrical grip bar with a first larger end tapering to a second smaller end so as to resemble the grip portion of a golf club. The grip bar has a first attachment eye at its first end. An extendable tensile member with first and second attachment affordances at its ends, such as clips or formed wire hooks, is attached to the first attachment eye at one end and a second attachment eye at the other end. A foot band attachment bracket has a second attachment eye and a base plane which is stepped upon for stability while a user exercises or practices golf swings while working against tensile resistance developed in the tensile member. The attachment component may be formed of sheet metal or made of formed metal wire in whole or in part.
SWING TRAINING DEVICE
A swing training device for practicing a sports swing that includes a body having a first end region and a second end region and a receiving slot extending along the body. At least one attachment member is received within the receiving slot and is adapted to couple the first end region and the second end region to define a hollow shape. In some embodiments, the first end region and the second end region are adapted to translate relative to each other along the slot.
