Mobile golf simulation system
Herein disclosed is a mobile golf simulation system, more particularly, a double-bayed golf simulator apparatus mounted to a wheeled trailer that may be readily transported and deployed to remote, particularly outdoor locations. The mobile golf simulation system of the present invention is uniquely designed to include a projection system installed beneath a floating floor that, along with right and left drop-down walls, allows for the creation of an open air platform from which a user may play a realistic form of virtual golf, hitting his ball into a built-in screen.
System and process for training a sports swing
A system and process for training a user's sports swing to maintain arm position and body rotation so as to promote a proper swing arc. The system includes a waist wrap having one or more attachment area on an outer surface. The system also includes one or more training blocks configured for attachment to the attachment area depending upon the type of swing being practices. The process promotes a proper swing arc by indicating incorrect arm position and/or body rotation through excessive contact between the user's arms and the training blocks during the swing. The goal of the system and process is to train a user's muscle memory for the correct arm position and body rotation in a proper swing arc.
GOLF INSTRUCTION METHOD, APPARATUS AND ANALYTICS PLATFORM
A golf instruction method, apparatus and analytics platform for determining the state of a putted golf ball relative to a target using information about the golf ball and external variables and remotely displaying the same, comprising a base unit, a mobile device or terminal, and an associated computer program including an analytics engine for analyzing a user's performance. The computer program determines whether and how a putted golf ball has missed said target and then stores, aggregates and displays that information for a user. The analytics engine is operable to aggregate data, analyze data and then correlate a user's actual skill proficiency to ball performance.
GOLF SWING TRAINING APPARATUS
Proposed herein is a golf swing training apparatus for providing sensations of hitting for golf swing practice. The golf swing training apparatus includes: a shaft body formed to a predetermined length, and configured such that a grip and a stopper are formed at both ends thereof, respectively, and a metal region is formed in a part thereof on a grip side thereof; an impact ball coupled to be movable along the longitudinal direction of the shaft body, configured to provide weight for the generation of a sensation of hitting, and provided with a plurality fitting slots; and a plurality of magnets configured to be detachably fitted into one or more of the fitting slots of the impact ball, configured to hold the impact ball to the metal region, and configured to allow the strength of the action of attraction to be adjusted.
System and method for providing an improved golf swing
A system and method for improving a golf swing. The system includes a club lie angle calculator, a golf club grabber, and a propeller channel for creating and supporting a swing plane for a user equal to the lie angle of a given golf club.
Golf Target Assembly
A golf target assembly for facilitating target practice with golf shots includes a target tree comprising a base portion, a trunk portion extending upwardly from the base portion and a plurality of arms each extending away from the trunk portion. A plurality of target hangers is each coupled to a respective one of the arms such that each of the target hangers hangs downwardly from the respective arm. A plurality of targets is each attachable to a respective one of the target hangers be shot at with golf shots. Each of the targets is comprised of a frangible material such that each of the targets shatters when the targets are struck with a projectile. In this way the plurality of targets facilitates a visual alert to the user when a golf ball strikes one of the targets.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INTEGRATING MEASUREMENTS CAPTURED DURING A GOLF SWING
The present embodiments provide systems and methods for aggregating measurements captured by different technologies during a golf swing. By capturing measurements using different technologies, more accurate measurements may be provided to a user by selecting from the measurements, offsetting measurements based on the technologies used, and aligning measurements between devices. Further, by aggregating measurements received from different devices, additional features and functionality may be provided to the user that is absent from any one device used alone. Additionally, by storing the aggregated measurements, users, club fitters and instructors may access and leverage larger databases of measurements to better understand the user's golf swing and to provide better recommendations and instruction to the user.
GOLF SWING TRAINING APPARATUS
Proposed herein is a golf swing training apparatus for providing sensations of hitting for golf swing practice. The golf swing training apparatus includes: a shaft body formed to a predetermined length, and having a grip; an impact ball coupled to be movable along the longitudinal direction of the shaft body, and configured to provide weight; a ball rail formed along the longitudinal direction of the shaft body, configured to provide a movement path, and provided with a stopper; one or more magnets installed in the impact ball, and configured to provide a magnetic force; and a magnet fixing part configured to face the magnet while forming a metal region, and also configured to hold the impact ball through the action of attraction with the magnet and to provide an attractive force having a different strength depending on the position of the impact ball.
Method and apparatus for capturing a golf swing and fitting a golfer
An image capturing apparatus is disclosed herein. More specifically, image capturing apparatus disclosed herein will be used to help a golfer properly select a golf club utilizing a high speed camera attached to a gantry apparatus capable of adjusting its own position relative to the golfer in order to capture data of a golf swing in an iron type golf club.
GARMENT WITH DIRECTIONAL INDICIA FOR VISUALIZING AND REMEMBERING A COORDINATED MOVEMENT OF BODY SEGMENTS
The present invention is directed to a garment for assisting a user to instantaneously visualize and remember a coordinated movement of body segments at the moment before and/or during the task. The coordinated movement can be related to any physical task such as sports, therapy, aerobics, dance, etc. The garment according to the present invention comprises an arrangement of arrows in or on a fabric of the garment, wherein the position of the arrows relative to body segments and the direction of the arrows indicates the direction in which the related body segment should be moved and/or aligned.
