USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
Systems and methods for measuring and/or analyzing swing information
In a first aspect, a method for monitoring a golf swing is provided that includes coupling a mobile telephone to a golf club and employing the mobile telephone coupled to the golf club to monitor acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings while a user swings the golf club, collect acceleration information based on the monitored acceleration of the mobile telephone as the mobile telephone swings, analyze the collected acceleration information to determine one or more characteristics of the golf swing based on the collected acceleration information, and output information regarding the one or more characteristics of the golf swing on the display of the mobile telephone. Numerous other aspects are provided.
Systems and methods for measuring and/or analyzing swing information
In a first aspect, a system for monitoring a swing is provided that includes (1) a swing measurement device adapted to couple to a swinging object and to output a signal indicative of a characteristic of the swinging object; (2) a wireless transmitter coupled to the swing measurement device and adapted to wirelessly transmit the signal output by the swing measurement device; and (3) a wireless device adapted to receive the wirelessly transmitted signal and to provide information regarding the swinging object based on the received signal. The wireless device is a cellular telephone or personal digital assistant (PDA). Numerous other aspects are provided.
INFLATABLE GOLF STUDIO
A portable inflatable golf studio including an arcuate shaped roof panel, first and second side panels, a floor panel, a front panel, a back panel, a projector screen, a projector, and a tracking system. The first and second side panels are positioned parallel from one another and are attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel, wherein one of the first and second side panels defines a cavity configured to receive a television monitor. The floor panel configured to connect the first and second side panels to one another. The front panel removable attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. The back panel positioned parallel to the front panel and attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. Each panel includes one or more of inflatable sections.
Determining golf swing characteristics
Implementations generally relate to determining golf swing characteristics. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining a video of a person performing an action. The method further includes determining from the video a plurality of points associated with the person, where the determining of the plurality of points is performed for each frame of the video. The method further includes determining a plurality of three-dimensional (3D) coordinates for each point of the plurality of points, where the determining of the 3D coordinates is performed for each frame of the video. The method further includes determining a movement of the plurality of points based at least in part on the 3D coordinates. The method further includes determining one or more movement errors based at least in part on the movement of the plurality of points.
Golf swing training tool
A small golf swing training tool has the same weight balance as that of a golf club and can easily confirm the orientation of the club face during training. A golf swing training tool includes a grasping part made of a rod-shaped member, a weight part made of a plate-like (plate-shaped) member surrounding both ends of the grasping part, and an insertion hole required to allow to grasp the grasping part between the grasping part and the weight part. The grasping part is not arranged at the weight center of the weight part.
Golf swing training apparatus
A golf swing training apparatus has a shaft, a housing with a top cap and a bottom cap, and a plurality of weighted discs receivable within the housing. A golfer may adjust the weight of the head of the club by adding or removing weighted discs in the housing. The golf swing training apparatus may comprise an accelerometer within the housing so as to measure the speed, acceleration, and swing path that the club takes for feedback and analysis to improve the golfers swing.
Systems and methods for golf swing training
A golf swing training device may comprise a first elongate member and a second elongate member each coupled at and extending orthogonally from a junction, wherein the second elongate member is shorter than the first elongate member, wherein a distal end of the second elongate member is sharply tapered to a point.
GOLF SWING RESISTANCE DEVICE
A golf swing resistance device that secures to a golf club to provide increased aerodynamic drag during a golf swing. The device includes disk-shaped plates with a through-bore in the center of the plates. The plates are secured to the golf club by passing the grip end of the golf club through the through-bore of the plates. The plates align along the golf shaft of the golf club and abut against the golf club clubhead during a golf swing. Multiple plates can be stacked along the length of the golf shaft. The plates have a larger span (or diameter) than the golf shaft thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the golf club and thus increasing the aerodynamic drag on the golf club during a golf swing. The plates can vary in size and quantity to provide variable amounts of aerodynamic drag.
