Location-enabled portable audio system
Audio systems and methods for obtaining location information are disclosed. A portable, wireless speaker may include a beacon that a user may activate to remotely trigger a request for shot information, which may include location information of the user or speaker. The beacon may be wirelessly coupled to the speaker. Notably, the beacon may comprise an earpiece such as an earbud or pair of earbuds. The speaker may receive location information from a remote device, such as a GPS-enabled mobile phone. The shot information may be converted into an audio format for playback by the speaker. The speaker may pause the playback of the speaker to play out the shot information. The system may also comprise a visual display.
PUTTING PRACTICE DEVICE FOR TRAINING OF KEEPING PUTTER FACE SQUARE AND CONTROLLING PUTTING STRENGTH
Disclosed is a putting practice device configured to enable training of keeping a putter face square without checking movement of a golf ball, to enable training of controlling putting strength as well as keeping the putter face square, and to enable training of practicing linear motion of a putter during execution of a putting stroke while an actual golf ball is struck. The putting practice device for the training of keeping the putter face square and controlling the putting strength includes an advance groove, a base plate, a striking part, an impact sensor, and a display part.
A PORTABLE APPARATUS, METHOD, AND SYSTEM OF GOLF CLUB SWING MOTION TRACKING AND ANALYSIS
An apparatus, method, and system for measuring a golf club swing motion, especially a golf putting stroke, from the overhead view and enabling to provide in-situ athletic training and instruction along with analysis of the putting stroke by using augmented reality superimposed on the image of the actual golf club. The system comprises a portable apparatus, mobile device application interface, image processing algorithms and network servers. The portable apparatus includes a mini-camera and communication modules for capturing the video image of a putting stroke and transmitting the image via wireless, Wi-Fi, Hotspot, or Bluetooth to a designated electronic display device such as a tablet, mobile phone, or laptop. The portable apparatus is fixed to a fastening clip which fits easily onto a golf cap to provide the overhead view of the putting stroke and record the image from an actual golf course.
USER CONFIGURABLE TRAILER
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, coordinate dynamic adjustments of a trailer based in part on a user profile associated with a user physically present at the trailer and an activity profile associated with an activity selected to be performed at the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a tilt of a lower surface of the trailer. A dynamic adjustment may modify a dimension(s) of the trailer based in part on a detected object(s). Various dynamic adjustments may occur concurrently, individually and/or sequentially. The trailer may be a moveable trailer for temporary attachment with a vehicle.
GOLF PUTTING TRAINING DEVICE
A golf putting training device is described. In some implementations, the golf putting training device comprises a body having a first elongate portion and a second elongate portion that are joined by a center portion having an arcuate recess at a proximate end of the first elongate portion and the second elongate portion, with the first elongate portion and the second elongate portion forming a channel that has the arcuate recess at a proximate end and an opening at a distal end. The golf putting training device further comprises two guide pins, with each of the first elongate portion and the second elongate portion including a first mounting aperture pair disposed near a proximate end and a second mounting aperture pair disposed near a distal end, as well as one or more guide aperture pairs, each pair constructed to receive the two guide pins.
GOLF GLOVE
A golf glove with marking areas provided on an outer surface of the hand and on an inner surface of the hand has three markings, wherein a first marking is provided on the outer surface of the hand in the metacarpal region, wherein a second marking is provided on the outer surface of the hand, and wherein a third marking is provided on the inner surface of the hand.
APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING TERRAIN INFORMATION ON GREEN AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING TERRAIN INFORMATION ON GREEN
Proposed herein are an apparatus for providing terrain information on a green and a method for providing terrain information on a green. According to one embodiment, there is proposed an apparatus for providing terrain information on a green, the apparatus including: a simulation processor configured to display a virtual golf course image regarding a green, a hole cup on the green, and a first ball; and a guide processor configured to display a guide path between the hole cup and the first ball to provide terrain information on the green.
Putting Kit
A putting kit for teaching, learning and practicing the art of putting comprises an inline putting frame that has various voids to accept golf tees. The golf tees may be in a raised position so as to define are more narrow passage way for both a golf ball and golf club head. By narrowing such passages, a golfer learns to make more refined a accurate club swings, such that the apex of the arc of the swing occurs directly at the back of the golf ball. A portable target or moveable golf cup allows for many golfers or students to practice upon the same green. A bubble level may be attached to the portable target to show a student the slope of the green. A ball firing mechanism may be aimed by use of the inline frame with the fired ball demonstrating the slope of the green.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRACTICING GOLF
A system and method for practicing golf, specifically for putting and chipping of a golf ball. The system utilizes a plurality of measuring members to determine a fall line and a curved line displaying of the best path of the ball based on the slope and measured distance from the golf ball on a green to the golf cup. Additional devices can be used alone or in coordination with the system to assist with the practicing.
PUTTING TRAINING APPARATUS
A putting training apparatus is a putting training aid for teaching the accuracy of aim when putting in the game of golf. A rectangularly shaped elongated planar member, which has a flat top surface with markings that guide the user to hit the ball with a putter along a straight trajectory and into a putting cup in the elongated planar member at the opposite end from the putting end. An attachable guide having a marker attaches to the putter that the user attempts to keep placed above an offset straight line helping the stroke to move along the straight path.
