Two-environment game play system
A game-play environment includes a tee box, a range surface, and a monitor. The tee box is configured to permit a player to hit a golf ball onto the range surface. The range surface has a plurality of physical markers. The monitor depicts a virtual environment that includes a plurality of virtual components. Some of the virtual components are visual cues that correspond to the physical markers. A player can play the game by targeting the appropriate physical marker that corresponds to the desired visual cue.
Golf Course and Method of Playing Golf
A golf course design and method of play that requires a small amount of space, relative to even the smallest conventional golf course and a method that enables a golf to complete 9 or 18 holes of golf in a short amount of time relative to conventional golf games.
AUTONOMOUS GOLF COMPETITION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system for monitoring and recording and processing an activity includes one or more cameras for automatically recording video of the activity. A remote media system is located at the location of the activity. A network media processor and services is communicatively coupled with the remote media system. The remote media system includes one or more AI enabled cameras. The AI enabled camera is configured to record the activity. The network media processor is configured to receive an activation request of the AI enabled camera and the validate the record request. The system may automatically administer a skill-based competition.
Interchanging Turf Assembly
An interchanging turf assembly for connecting interlocking artificial turf tiles together wherein each tile has a varying layout includes a plurality of tiles. Each tile of the plurality of tiles is interlocking with each other. Each tile of the plurality of tiles has a plurality of sides. Each side of the plurality of sides has a channel wherein the each channel defines a slot space. A connector has a base and the base has a pair of sides. Each side of the pair of sides is coupled to a respective one of a pair of slot inputs. Each of the slot inputs is inserted into the slot space of each channel. A plug is positioned in the center of each of the tiles. The plug is a hole where the hole defines a space for a golf ball to be stored in.
Autonomous digital media processing systems and methods
A system for monitoring and recording and processing an activity includes one or more cameras for automatically recording video of the activity. A remote media system is located at the location of the activity. A network media processor and services is communicatively coupled with the remote media system. The remote media system includes one or more AI enabled cameras. The AI enabled camera is configured to record the activity. The network media processor is configured to receive an activation request of the AI enabled camera and the validate the record request.
IMMERSIVE AND REACTIVE GAME PLAY RANGE, SYSTEM AND PROCESS
The invention generally relates to an immersive and reactive game play system and process having a dynamic, interactive range surface and/or an end-of-range display that provide for a partially simulated environment with a shared field of play for the activity that allows for an immersive but shared view of each user and the other users, and further expands participation by combining the advantages of simulated display with a physical field of play. The immersive and reactive game play system and process is configured to simultaneously display flight paths of multiple balls struck from a multi-level, multi-bay golf and entertainment facility. The interactive range surface provides a visual, auditory and/or physical effect to a golf ball traveling over or landing on the range surface, and the end-of-range display is configured to display the continued flight path of the golf ball.
Erosion resistant composition and method of making same
An erosion resistant composition includes a granular material and a wax including oil in which a weight percent of the oil in the wax is between 0.01-15%. The granular material includes a sand and has a first resistance to flow prior to being coated with the wax. The wax at least partially coats a portion of the granular material to form the erosion resistant composition which has a second resistance to flow after coating that is greater than the first resistance to flow prior to coating. The erosion resistant composition may be used, for example, in golf course bunkers or other landscaping applications. Related methods of making the erosion resistant composition are also described in which the granular material is dried, the wax is heated, and the granular material is blended with the melted wax.
Methods of playing and scoring a golf putting game
A golf putting game includes at least one putting green defining a putting surface and a plurality of putting cups disposed within the putting surface at a different location on the putting green. Each putting cup has an exterior housing and an interior core disposed within and removably attached to the exterior housing. The interior core is removable from the exterior housing with the putting cup disposed within the putting surface of the putting green. Each putting cup is illuminated by a different predetermined color and assigned a different predetermined number of base points corresponding to the predetermined color. A player score is determined from a number of putting strokes made by a player to putt a putting ball into the putting cup and the predetermined number of base points assigned to the putting cup.
Golf bunker filtration device and related methods
A golf bunker cleaning device includes a base having an open top end and an open bottom end defining an interior open space therebetween and the base configured to be buried below a ground surface of a golf bunker without filling in the interior open space. An extension collar is configured to be removably secured over the open top end of the base to increase a height of the interior open space to above the ground surface of the golf bunker, and a lid is configured to be removably secured over either the top end of the base or over the extension collar to enclose the interior open space. The extension collar comprises a plurality of collar latches each extending to a respective free end, and the base comprises a plurality of base locking apertures configured to releasable engage the respective free end of the plurality of collar latches.
GOLF COURSE AND METHOD OF PLAYING GOLF GAME
A method is described for playing a golf game, on a working surface of a golf course. The method includes providing (using) a predetermined set of rules. The predetermined set of rules are configured to identify a range of golf clubs, of a set of golf clubs, to be utilized in such a way that the predetermined set of rules, in use, promotes, at least in part, a prolonged life span of at least some of the golf clubs.
