Basketball training system
A basketball training system includes a server computer and a basketball training machine. The server computer executes a workout module that manages operation of a graphical user interface that presents a graphical representation of a portion of a basketball court and receives user inputs that define a workout program that includes selected ball delivery locations relative to the visual representation. The basketball training machine receives the workout program and delivers basketballs to the selected ball delivery locations.
BALL TRAINER WITH LAUNCHER FUNCTION AND DROPPER FUNCTION AND TRAINING BOX
A ball trainer with a launcher function and a dropper function is provided. The ball trainer includes: a dropper unit that is disposed on one side in a housing and is formed in a holder shape capable of dropping a ball downward, the dropper unit including a storage space with a variable length in which two or more balls are stored; a launcher unit that is disposed on the other side in the housing and launches a ball which is received from outside; a control module that selectively controls the dropper unit and the launcher unit depending on an operation mode;
and a communication module that is connected to the control module and transmits a signal received from the outside in a wireless or wired manner.
Ball-fetcher projection device
A ball-fetcher projection device including an elongated cylindrical barrel having an interior tube, a closed end, an open end, a lower rear surface, and a top surface. An interior guided track is disposed along a length of the interior tube of the cylindrical barrel, and a moveable spring-loaded firing ram has a front end and a back end. The moveable spring-loaded firing ram is mounted to the guided track along the interior tube of the cylindrical barrel. A ball is loaded within the cylindrical barrel. A moveable cocking mechanism is disposed on the front end of the firing ram and is engageable by a user. A handle has a trigger device mounted to the lower rear surface of the cylindrical barrel. The trigger device is engageable with the cocking mechanism.
Bowling Ball Launcher
A bowling ball launcher has a frame and a rail oriented from a front of the frame to a back of the frame. A push pad is configured to slide along the rail. An elastic mechanism is coupled to the push pad and extends toward the front of the frame. A winch is coupled to the push pad toward the back of the frame. The winch includes a motor, a winch wheel, and a cable extending from the winch wheel to the push pad. The winch also includes a clutch between the motor and winch wheel. A shock absorber is disposed near the front of the frame. A plurality of position sensors is attached to the frame along the rail. A power meter is configured to move the push pad to one of the position sensors by operation of the winch.
Manual launcher with remotely situated control
The invention has for object a mechanical target-launching machine comprising a loading system 1 and an actuator 3 which are disjointed from one another. The actuator 3 and the loading system 1 are connected to one another by a power transmission device 2. Said power transmission device 2 is a flexible element and preferably an arming cable 21. An energy accumulator 6 allows energy to be stored so that it can be released abruptly and allow the launching of a target 29.
Ball tossing apparatus and method
A ball tossing apparatus includes a support frame and a plurality of launch devices fixed to the support frame and arranged in a two-dimensional array. The launch devices include cylinders having a spring fixed therein, with a ball carrier fixed to the spring. The balls are retained in a loaded position (springs compressed) and then upon activation of the launch devices are launched vertically into the air to the sports player. In another embodiment, the launch devices include a rotating lever which is acted on by a biasing member to launch the ball vertically from the cylinder. A method for launching the balls includes the steps of loading the balls into a two dimensional array, and then launching the balls according to a launch sequence. An electronic control system for use with the ball tossing apparatus includes a launch module for launching the loaded balls in the plurality of launch devices according to a launch sequence. The launch sequences can be randomly generated, programmed by the sports player, or retrieved from memory. The launch of the balls can also be controlled remotely.
AUTOMATIC BATTING TEE APPARATUS
The present invention relates to an automatic batting tee apparatus that includes a ball storage unit for continuously feeding balls therein for batting; a lifting unit for putting the balls discharged from the ball storage unit onto an upper end of a tee rod for T-batting; and a feeding unit disposed between the ball storage unit and the lifting unit. The apparatus can smoothly and quickly feed balls, particularly, baseballs to the lifting unit with the tee rod, using the ball storage unit having a variable internal space and rotary equipment. The automatic batting tee apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention allows for not only batting practice, but fielding practice by a cylinder unit.
Training device to deliver sports balls for practice
A device capable of repeatedly delivering one or more sports balls to the user in a time- controlled manner that mimics a human toss, without the use of electronic controls or electronic regulators. The device may be customizable to fit the needs or preferences of the user, such as being collapsible, foldable, expandable, or otherwise able to increase or decrease its enclosed volume or capacity. Similarly, the height, angle, and elevation of the present invention may be adjustable through members that may also be collapsible, foldable, telescoping, or otherwise adjusted. Embodiments of the device include time control elements to restrict the delivery of the sports balls that utilize friction, air resistance, fluid resistance, magnetism, Eddy current braking, resonance, vibration, or any combination therein to influence the time control.
Interactive Volleyball Launcher System
An automatic volleyball feeder system for setting a volleyball in the air to a player includes a volleyball launcher and a basket assembly. The volleyball launcher comprises an actuator assembly in cooperating engagement with the basket assembly to activate the actuator when a volleyball is received by the basket assembly. The launcher sends the volleyball along a consistent trajectory. The launcher is configurable to modify the height and angle of the trajectory.
