The apparatus may include a weight attached to the plate, underneath the plate, opposite from where the suction cup is removably attached to the plate. A plurality of such apparatuses, spaced apart from each other, may be attached to a surface by suction; and a plurality of exercises using each of the plurality of apparatuses may be performed, such as by contacting or weaving in and out of the apparatuses.

The training apparatus also comprises a lighting fixture indicating an instructed pass-through direction for the sports player to pass the sport-projectile through the pass-under area. A system for training a sports player is described that comprises a plurality of training apparatuses that are remotely configurable to define a training drill for a sports player and to collect training data from execution of the training drill. A method for training a sports player is also disclosed.

A multi-directional expandable modular agility exercise ladder has spaced rows of two part paired rungs having overlapping ends joined to each by a pivot post forming a variable angle chevron prow. Outer ends of the paired rungs are interlocked to two parallel spaced bands to complete the ladder. A hook and loop pad interlock is used. Alternately, spaced key holes extend through the bands with the outer ends of the rungs having downwardly extending retainer poles secured in a respective key hole. Alternately, releasable spring clamps hand movable along the band length secure rung ends to the bands.

The play or drill may be further indicative of movement associated with each player position, and the computing device may animate the digital practice plan diagram on the playing surface based on the digital practice plan. The computing device may receive a user command and further control the animation of the digital practice plan diagram in response to receiving the user command. A weight sled that allows both linear and non-linear movements such that resistance training can be performed in the frontal, sagittal, and combined frontal/sagittal planes, and which allows easy movement for transportation, storage, and retrieval from storage. The weight sled uses one or more swiveling, pivoting, or omni-directional wheels that allow all or a portion of the sled to be moved laterally. The addition of wheel configurations allowing of lateral movement of all of, or a portion of, the weight sled greatly expands the utility of weight sleds because movement in any direction can be trained, whether in the sagittal body plane (forward/backward movements), the frontal body plane (lateral movements), or a combination of the two. Additionally, the plurality of wheel configurations allows for a variety of storage arrangements.
