Lubricant Conducting Housing with a Separation Function and Recirculation
A lubricant conducting member includes a lubricant conducting housing arranged between a crankcase and a lubricant collecting trough. The lubricant housing is surrounded by a bordering edge, and a projection of the bordering edge delimits an area in a plane parallel to a standing plane of the motor vehicle. A cumulative area of all of the lubricant passage openings is smaller than ⅓ of the area. In a perpendicular view, from the standing plane of the motor vehicle onto the lubricant conducting housing, in particular the view from below at least one lubricant passage opening, all lubricant passage openings are completely covered by the lubricant recirculation system.
SUMP DEVICE HAVING A PIPE UNIT
In order to improve and in particular to more economically manufacture and/or assemble and/or maintain a sump device comprising a sump body particularly for an oil supply in a commercial motor vehicle having a pipe unit comprising a pipe body wherein the sump body is an injection moulded part of plastics material it is proposed that the pipe unit be arranged on the sump body with play.
Oil pan for internal combustion engine
An oil pan (14) for an internal combustion engine includes a bottom wall (16) provided with two downward bulges (28) extending in a crankshaft axial direction (X), and an upward bulge (30) positioned between the two downward bulges continuously to the downward bulges and extending in the crankshaft axial direction. The upward bulge has a width (Wb) as measured in a transverse direction orthogonal to the crankshaft axial direction greater than corresponding widths (Wa) of the downward bulges.
Vehicle oil pan guard
In a vehicle oil pan guard including a guard plate mounted on a support member via a mounting portion such that the guard plate is arranged at a position under an oil pan storing a hydraulic oil for protecting the oil pan from an impact from below, a cover plate different from the guard plate is mounted together with the guard plate via the mounting portion on the support member such that the cover plate closes an opening formed near the guard plate toward a road surface.
Oil pan
An oil pan disposed underneath an engine of a motorcycle and configured to reserve engine oil includes a shallow bottom portion and a deep bottom portion formed to extend in a front-rear direction of the motorcycle substantially at a center in a left-right direction of the motorcycle of the shallow bottom portion, and to become deeper than the shallow bottom portion, and in which a space defined in the left-right direction of the motorcycle between both side wall portions of the deep bottom portion that face each other in the left-right direction of the motorcycle is formed to increase as the deep bottom portion extends from a front toward a rear thereof with respect to the motorcycle.
HYBRID OIL PAN FOR VEHICLE
A hybrid oil pan for a vehicle includes a body part which is molded with a plastic material to reduce the weight, and a portion of the oil pan that is fastened to a transmission has increased dynamic rigidity to cope with the deformation caused by the dynamic behavior of the transmission.
Turbomachine oil tank
The invention relates to a turbojet engine oil tank (30). The tank (30) comprises a main chamber and an envelope (34) delimiting the main chamber, and a fixing portion (44) for example with fixing flanges (46) and a branch (48). The envelope (34) features in particular an envelope part (34) relative to which the fixing portion (44) projects. The envelope part (34) and the fixing portion (44) are produced by layered additive fabrication so as to be in one piece. The invention also relates to a method of fabricating an oil tank (30).
STRUCTURE OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A structure of an internal combustion engine is provided. The structure includes an oil pan connected to a main body portion of the internal combustion engine, and a plurality of baffle plates disposed in and fastened to the oil pan. In one embodiment, the oil pan includes a deep bottom portion for receiving oil and a shallow bottom portion. Among the plurality of baffle plates, the rigidity of a baffle plate disposed at the shallow bottom portion is higher than the rigidity of a baffle plate disposed at the deep bottom portion. In another embodiment, the oil pan includes a bottom portion for receiving oil, and a heavy-equipment joint portion disposed on a side portion of the oil pan. Among the plurality of baffle plates, the rigidity of a baffle plate disposed at the heavy-equipment joint portion is higher than the rigidity of another baffle plate.
