Exhaust gas treatment device comprising an electrochemical cell
Methods and systems are provided for an exhaust gas treatment device. In one example, the exhaust gas treatment device comprises an electrochemical cell having a first electrode, a second electrode and an electrolyte provided between the first and second electrodes, wherein the electrochemical cell is configured to convert a first pollutant species, such as nitric oxide, within the exhaust gas to a second pollutant species, such as nitrogen dioxide, such that a concentration of the second pollutant species within the exhaust gases leaving the exhaust gas treatment device is increased relative to the exhaust gases entering the exhaust gas treatment device.
CONTROL DEVICE FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust passage includes a main passage and bypass passage, a catalyst, an exhaust control valve, and an HC adsorbent in the bypass passage. The exhaust control valve is controlled so that, when a temperature of the catalyst is higher than a predetermined sintering occurrence temperature, the quality of HC desorbed from the HC adsorbent is greater when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing through the upstream exhaust passage portion is a lean air-fuel ratio compared to when it is a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio or rich air-fuel ratio, or the quality of HC desorbed from the HC adsorbent is greater when the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas flowing through the upstream exhaust passage portion is a larger lean air-fuel ratio compared to when it is a smaller lean air-fuel ratio.
EXHAUST GAS CONTROL APPARATUS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust gas control apparatus for an internal combustion engine for purifying exhaust gas discharged from an engine main body includes an exhaust gas control catalyst disposed in an exhaust gas passage of an internal combustion engine and capable of purifying a target component in the exhaust gas, an electrochemical reactor disposed in the exhaust gas passage on a downstream side in an exhaust flow direction of the exhaust gas control catalyst, and a control device for controlling energization of the electrochemical reactor. The electrochemical reactor is configured to purify the target component in the exhaust gas when energized. The control device controls the energization of the electrochemical reactor on the basis of an active parameter indicating an active state of the exhaust gas control catalyst and an air-fuel ratio parameter related to an air-fuel ratio of the inflow exhaust gas flowing into the electrochemical reactor.
Medicinal Composition of Extract of Seed of Emblica Officinalis and Method of Preparing the Same
A composition having an extract of seed of Emblica officinalis. Methods of preparing extract of seed of Emblica officinalis. An amla seed blend composition having various ratios of extracts of seeds of Emblica officinalis. Nutraceutical or pharmaceutical methods for decreasing the total cholesterol, decreasing triglyceride, decreasing blood glucose level, enhancing HDL-C levels, increasing the HDL-C level to total cholesterol ratio, lowering LDL-C levels, decreasing the CRP level, decreasing the intima media thickening, reducing hair fall in mammals especially human beings. The extract of seed of Emblica officinalis, or the amla seed blend composition is more effective compared to extracts prepared from fruits of Emblica officinalis.

Reactive cyclic induction system and method for reducing pollutants in marine diesel exhaust
A system and method for reduction of Nitrogen Oxide emissions from marine engines by converting Nitrogen Oxide into Nitrogen is disclosed. The modular reactive cyclic induction apparatus connects to the exhaust of a conventional diesel marine engine and uses air pressure and the sodium chloride in seawater to create a molecular reaction to break down Nitrogen Oxide into Nitrogen by use of an induction apparatus. The system can also include a loop for removing Carbon Dioxide through electrolysis, and removes other environmental pollutants as well, including for example Sulphur oxides, hydrocarbons, and particulate matter during the process.
Power cable with an overmolded probe for power transfer to a non-thermal plasma generator and a method for constructing the overmolded probe
A transfer module for transferring power to a non-thermal plasma generator includes a power cable; a first epoxy; a second epoxy; an interface between the first epoxy and the second epoxy; and a well; the power cable including a conductor for conducting electrical power and an insulation layer for surrounding a portion of the conductor; the first epoxy being located within the well to surround the insulation layer; the second epoxy being located within the well to surround the conductor located within the well; the second epoxy being located outside the well to surround the conductor located outside the well.
