An injector is provided to inject an aqueous urea solution into an exhaust line. The injector comprises a single fluid inlet, an injection passage, fluidly connecting the inlet to the injection port, and a shut-off device for the injection port. The shut-off device further comprises an actuator that is configured to selectively move a shutter between open and closed positions. A cooling passage is fluidly connected to the injection passage and is configured to cool the actuator. A fluid pressure regulator is interposed in the cooling passage.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOVING RESIDUAL REDUCTANT
A system for removing residual reductant from at least one component of a reductant dosing system associated with an aftertreatment system includes a first container disposed in fluid communication with the reductant dosing system. The system also includes a first conduit for providing fluid communication between the first container and the reductant dosing system. Based on a generation of a vacuum within the first container, the first conduit is operative to remove the residual reductant from the at least one component of the reductant dosing system and introduce the residual reductant into the first container.
UREA DEPOLLUTION CIRCUIT COMPROMISING A DOUBLE-SEAT VALVE SELECTIVELY ENSURING THE DEGRASSING OR THE RECIRCULATION OF THE AQUEOUS UREA SOLUTION
The invention concerns a circuit intended to transfer, by means of a pump, first fluid, such as an aqueous urea solution, from a reservoir to an injector, said circuit also containing a second fluid, such as air, and said circuit comprising, downstream of the pump and of the reservoir, a downstream circuit portion which includes, on the one hand, a main branch which leads to the injector and, on the other hand, bypass branch which returns to the reservoir and which is provided with a double-seat valve designed to selectively and automatically adopt: purge configuration allowing to purge the second fluid through the valve out of the main branch, a pressurized supply configuration allowing to direct the first fluid to the injector under a predetermined working pressure, and a recirculation configuration allowing a recirculation through the bypass branch, and to the reservoir, of the first fluid coming from said reservoir.
EXHAUST PURIFICATION DEVICE FOR ENGINE
An exhaust purification device for an engine facilitates thawing of a urea aqueous solution, which is frozen in a reducing agent tank of an exhaust purification device, more rapidly. When a urea aqueous solution in a reducing agent tank is frozen at a time of starting an engine, at least a part of the urea aqueous solution to be supplied to an injection nozzle is flown into a reducing agent circulation flow path, a part of which is adjacent to a heat source, and the urea aqueous solution thus heated is returned to the reducing agent tank.
WET INLINE SCRUBBER WITH A SIDE INLET FOR REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF SOX IN AN EXHAUST GAS PRODUCED BY ONE OR MORE ENGINES OF A MARINE VESSEL
A wet inline scrubber with a side inlet using alkali scrubber fluid for reducing the amount of SOx in the exhaust gas of engines of a marine vessel, including a vertically extending exhaust gas reaction tube, lower and upper scrubbing chamber including alkali scrubber fluid injectors to scrub the exhaust gas, and a used scrubber fluid drain. The lower chamber has an exhaust gas outlet with a central opening arranged to let the exhaust gas pass through and a body extending from the central opening up to an outer wall thereof which is in contact with the inner wall of the exhaust gas reaction tube. Between the body and the inner wall, slit-shaped openings allow scrubber fluid to flow from the upper scrubbing chamber to the lower scrubbing chamber and used scrubber fluid to flow over the inlet side for the exhaust gas in the lower scrubbing chamber.
Method pertaining to an SCR system and an SCR system
A method for an SCR system comprising a dosing unit (250) for dosing reducing agent into an engine exhaust duct (290) upstream of a SCR catalytic converter (270) for reducing the NOx level in an exhaust flow from the engine. The SCR system comprises a pressurizing device (230) for feeding reducing agent from a container (205) to the dosing unit (250) arranged so as to dose reducing agent to the exhaust duct (290) under pressure. The method includes the step of: reducing, during periods of non-continuous dosing of reducing agent during continued maintained operation of the pressurizing device (230), the pressure (s301; s320) of the reducing agent at the dosing unit (250) compared to the pressure during continuous dosing. Also a computer program product containing program code (P) for a computer (200; 210) for implementing a method according to the invention. The invention also concerns an SCR system and a motor vehicle that is equipped with that system.
EXHAUST POSTPROCESSING COMPONENT
An exhaust postprocessing component comprises an exhaust pipe, a first support installed on the exhaust pipe, a common rail installed on the first support, an inlet pipeline and an outlet pipeline that are connected to the common rail, a sensor, and a bundle that is connected to the sensor. The common rail comprises a shell and a pressure detection apparatus and a pressure adjustment apparatus that are installed on the shell. The shell comprises an inlet passage and an outlet passage. The pressure detection apparatus is connected to the inlet passage. The pressure adjustment apparatus is connected between the inlet passage and the outlet passage, so as to connect or disconnect the inlet passage and the outlet passage. The engine exhaust postprocessing component further comprises a second support. The bundle, the inlet pipeline, and the outlet pipeline are all gathered at the second support. In this way, the exhaust postprocessing component is easy to be installed with another component.
Reductant dosing system for an SCR catalyst
The present application provides a reductant dosing system for an SCR catalyst comprising an injector, a storage tank and a reductant pump arranged in a first fluid line between the storage tank and the injector for pumping reductant from the storage tank to the injector. The reductant dosing system comprises pressurizing means for pressurizing the storage tank.
Water injection exhaust treatment system
An exhaust aftertreatment system may include a reductant supply and diluent supply conduits, an injector and a control module. The reductant supply conduit includes a first valve controlling a flow of reductant through the reductant supply conduit. The diluent supply conduit includes a second valve controlling a flow of diluent through the diluent supply conduit. The injector is in fluid communication with the reductant supply conduit and the diluent supply conduit and is configured to provide fluid to an exhaust stream. The control module may control the first valve to provide a targeted amount of reductant through the injector. The control module may control the second valve to maintain a fluid flow rate through the injector that is at or above a minimum flow rate threshold of the injector based on a difference between a flow rate through the reductant supply conduit and the minimum flow rate threshold.
