A system is disclosed that includes a ball-throwing machine included within a first housing, a controller communicatively coupled to the ball-throwing machine and included within a second housing different than the first housing, a camera, and a non-transitory storage medium having stored thereon logic, the logic being executable by one or more processors to perform operations including: receiving information associated with a selection of a first training drill from the controller, responsive to receiving the information associated with the selection of the first training drill, causing the ball-throwing machine to impart motion to one or more balls in accordance with the first training drill, receiving multimedia data of a player captured by the camera, and performing a player recognition procedure to locate the player within the multimedia data.

SCATTERED OBJECT COLLECTION SYSTEM
20230142296 · 2023-05-11 ·

Provided is a highly reliable, cost-effective scattered object collection system that can determine the correct position of each scattered object on the ground, such as a ball, and efficiently collect scattered objects by reducing unnecessary traveling of an autonomous collector. The scattered object collection system includes an autonomous collector that performs a collecting operation by picking up balls B while traveling in a work area W and a collector management unit that manages the autonomous collector. The collector management unit acquires positional information on the autonomous collector, identifies an actual position where each ball B was picked up in the work area W using the acquired positional information, and allows the autonomous collector to perform a collecting operation in a place having a high density of balls B with higher priority than a place having a low density of balls B using the identified actual positional information on each ball B.

Boxing gaming device

The present invention provides a gaming system for playing a boxing inspired game. The gaming device includes two vests that communicate with each other and keep score via wireless technology. The game is played by two players at a time with the general objective being for a player to hit their opponent's vest as many times as possible within the designated time period. The device allows players to engage in three different modes. Score tracking is announced by audio and does not require any additional devices for viewing the score.

Braking and Locking System for a Treadmill
20230201654 · 2023-06-29 ·

A system for a treadmill with a tread that rotates on front wheels supported on a front axle and rear wheels supported on a rear axle includes a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism comprises a first device associated with one of the front axle or the rear axle and configured to prevent rotation of respective front wheels or rear wheels in a first direction and a second device associated with another of the front axle or the rear axle and configured to prevent rotation of the respective front wheels or rear wheels in a second direction opposite the first direction. The system also includes a controller and a sensor configured to detect a user on the tread. The controller is configured to, in response to the sensor detecting no user on the manual treadmill, engage the locking mechanism to prevent movement of the front wheels and the rear wheels.

FENCING SCORING SYSTEM

A fencing scoring system may include a controller configured to output a signal indicative of a hit. The output signal may be in response to counts of edges of one or more oscillating signals having a variable frequency deviating from a threshold over a period. The counts may be of edges that are rising. The counts may be of edges that are falling. The counts may be of edges that are rising and falling. The frequency may be based on a capacitance of a circuit. A portion of the capacitance may be from a fencing equipment component. The equipment component may be a lamé. The equipment component may be a weapon.

EXERCISE DEVICE AND PRELOADED RESISTANCE PACK
20170368401 · 2017-12-28 · ·

A preloaded resistance pack and exercise device. The resistance pack includes an elastomeric resistance element coupled to a hub and disposed on a plate. The hub includes a pair of radially extending wings that lie against a surface of the plate. The plate includes a pair of raised tabs that lie within a rotational path of the wings. An initial rotation of the hub relative to the plate causes the wings to slide over and beyond the raised tabs and at least partially stretches the resistance element. Interaction between the tabs and wings prevents the hub from rotating back to an initial position and maintains the resistance element in a preloaded, tensioned condition. The exercise device is configured to detect a number of the resistance packs coupled thereto as well as data associated with exercise movements employing the resistance packs.

APPARATUS, METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR PROVIDING VIRTUAL CONTROL PANEL

Disclosed is a virtual control panel providing apparatus, method and program providing user convenience such that a user continuously works out by conveniently operating various functions at a current location without movement, by communicating between a golf simulator and a golf mat capable of providing a virtual control panel, providing the virtual control panel, and performing functions of the virtual control panel corresponding to a user input.

COMPUTERIZED EXERCISE APPARATUS

A training, rehabilitation, and recovery system comprises an exercise apparatus including a user interface member coupled to a plurality of links and joints, brakes capable of resisting movement of at least a subset of the links or joints, and sensors capable of sensing movement at the joints or the user interface member. The system also includes a processor configured to receive from the sensors positional data of the links or joints over an initial movement of the apparatus by a user, from which positional coordinates of the user interface member are calculated and a reference trajectory is established. An end space is defined based on the reference trajectory. Over a subsequent movement of the apparatus by the user, the processor receives additional positional data and determines a completion of a repetition based on the positional coordinates of the subsequent movement and the defined end space.
