MULTIFUNCTIONAL RECUMBENT EXERCISING DEVICE
A multifunctional recumbent exercising device is disclosed, including a base frame, a first transmission unit, a first retracting unit, a resistance unit, a first guiding piece and a first movable seat. By changing a relative position between the first movable seat and the first guiding piece, the position of a first slide-assistance portion of the first movable seat on the base frame can be changed. The multifunctional recumbent exercising device allows an operator to apply force to a first side or a second side of the base frame, in order to select various kinds of training modes.
TRANSLATING CARRIAGE EXERCISE MACHINES AND METHODS OF USE
A translatable carriage exercise machine comprising elongate side rails. A moveable carriage is translatable along the side rails. An upper support surface on the carriage is useable to at least partially support a user. A plurality of elastic tension members can be secured to a bottom of the moveable carriage and are fixable to a plurality of spring anchors near an end of the machine. A pair of handles under elastic tension are directed toward an end of the machine. An upright footbar can be positioned at an end of the machine. A rotational resistance mechanism is integrated in the machine comprising an elongate resistance band having an extended configuration and a retracted configuration. The rotational resistance mechanism comprises a resistor comprising a load member. A user can option to utilize one or more of the elastic tension members and/or rotational resistance mechanism during exercise on the machine.
FACILITATED STRETCHING MACHINE
A system to facilitate stretching for a user, including a force-applying component and a subject-engaging surface, such that the force applying element is attached to a first end of a rotatable element that rotates about a first point of secured support, or fulcrum, and the subject engaging surface is operatively connected to a second end of said rotatable element, such that application of force via the force-applying component causes rotational movement of the subject-engaging surface toward the user.
Parallel Cable Exercise Device
A cable-based exercise system. A chassis is provided to house the actuators. A force plate sits on top of this chassis. A bur configured for gripping by a user is provided. The bar has a first end and a second end. Two or more cables are connected to each end of the bar. Each cable connects an end of the bar to a drive motor. Each drive motor can be independently controlled. A central processor is preferably provided to receive sensory inputs and control the drive motors.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
MOTOR-DRIVEN VARIABLE WEIGHT EXERCISE DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE CHASSIS BODY
The invention herein relates to a variable weight exercise machine comprising a motor driven carriage assembly that moves along a linear path creating a variable resistant force against which the user exerts an opposite force. The chassis body and frame of said device having a design that can be modularly configured in coordination with said carriage element, enabling a plurality of horizontal, vertical, or angular concentric or eccentric exercise movements.
EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus comprises a platform having a front roller, a rear roller and an endless belt mounted around the front roller and the rear roller for allowing a user to perform a first exercise type of a relatively lower resistance or a second exercise type of a relatively higher resistance. A front frame is mounted at a front side of the platform and has at least one holding portion adapted to be grasped by the user. A first control interface controls the first exercise type. The first exercise type is selected from a group consisting of walking, jogging, and running. A second control interface that controls the second exercise type. The second exercise type includes the user pushing the endless belt backwards against resistance while grasping the holding portion.
A GYM TOWER
A gym tower which includes a base and a plurality of internal weights vertically stacked on the base. A frame is connected to the base and extends upward from the base to engage with the plurality of internal weights. A top plate is connected to the frame, so that the base and the plate enclose the plurality of internal weights within the frame. The tower also includes a spine is adapted to selectively engage the plurality of internal weights. A main pulley is connected to the top plate and a main cable is fed through the main pulley. The main cable is connectable to the spine at a first end and includes a connector device at a second end. The tower also includes a rod adapted to engage with the spine and to select an internal weight and is adapted to secure to external weights.
Self-housed portable exercise equipment
Exercise equipment includes a case having first and second parts. The first part is movable relative to the second part and defines a closed state in which an interior compartment is defined and an open state in which the interior compartment is accessible. The first and second parts each have a bottom panel and at least one side panel extending from an outer edge thereof. The first part includes a pair of connection implements in or on side panels opposite one another. In a use state, a connection pin engages with the connection implements, a pneumatic cylinder connects to the connection pin and includes an extendable actuating rod, and an attachment is attachable to the actuating rod and allows a user to interact therewith to exercise. The connection pin, pneumatic cylinder, and attachment fits in the interior compartment in their storage state.
