Reversibly installable modular fitness area
Disclosed is a reversibly installable modular fitness area including a plurality of platform-like islands adapted to support a plurality of systems and equipment in order to allow the user to carry out fitness exercises, the modular fitness area including at least one first central island; at least one second island; at least one third island; at least one fourth island; at least one fifth island; at least one sixth island; at least one seventh island; at least one eighth island; at least one ninth island; the modular fitness area also including an energy supply system adapted to supply power to the electronic components included therein.
Modular Exercise Apparatus
An exercise apparatus with base horizontal members forming a base polygon and ceiling horizontal members forming a ceiling polygon and a plurality of vertical members mounted at their lower ends to the base polygon and mounting the ceiling polygon spaced from the base polygon. A human interface permits athletes to exercise, and wheels mounted to the base polygon permit transport of the apparatus and attached equipment to a field or court. The base polygon includes two parallel skids and the human interface may be a pad permitting an athlete to push the apparatus horizontally when none or two of the wheels contact the ground. When no wheels contact the ground, the apparatus may be used in the manner of a weight rack, because the apparatus will not move along the ground without substantial force being applied.
FITNESS SYSTEM, FITNESS ASSEMBLY ARRANGEMENT AND FUNCTIONAL FITNESS ELEMENTS
A suspension training based functional fitness element (11, 31) comprising: an essentially planar element (22) having an upper edge, a lower edge and two side edges, said planar element (22) being designed to form a pivotable connection to a support element (32) along said upper edge of the planar element (22), a first elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a first connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), a second elongated element (23, 32, 52) connected to said planar element (22) at a second connection point at said lower edge of the planar element (22), and a first and second handle (24), said first and second handle (24) being connected to said first and second elongated elements (23) respectively, whereby that said first and second connection points are arranged such that there is a horizontal offset between the first and second connection points and such that there is a vertical offset between the first connection point and the pivotable connection and a vertical offset between the second connection point and the pivotable connection.
Physical Workout System and Method
A modular and configurable muscular physical rehabilitation and training system that is a total body fitness system designed to promote strengthening and creation of muscle mass using free weights. Free weights simulate real-life situations and promote whole body stabilization. Free weights allow more variations in the range of motion than using modern machines. The system allows the flexible and configurable use of muscle contractile activities utilizing free weights and proper techniques. This is done in a space-saving, compact, safe, configurable, and practical configuration that can be used with a plurality of participants supported by a single trainer/therapist.
COMBINED EXERCISE APPARATUS
A combined exercise apparatus includes a lat pull-down machine and a rope pulling exercise machine. The lat pull-down machine includes a first handle, a first pull rope, and a first resistance module. The first handle is connected with the first resistance module through the first pull rope for providing lat pull-down training through the first resistance module. The rope pulling exercise machine is mounted to the la pull-down machine. The rope pulling training machine includes a rope, a wheel seat, and a second resistance module. The rope is wound around the wheel seat. The wheel seat is connected with the second resistance module for providing rope pulling training through the second resistance module. Wherein, the first resistance module of the lat pull-down machine and the second resistance module of the rope pulling training machine are independent from each other.
Exercise machine having elastic exercise resistance cables
An exercise machine includes an upright mounting assembly having a top and a bottom spaced-apart from the top. The exercise machine includes a seat operatively connected to the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a first pair of space-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the top of the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a second pair of spaced-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the bottom of the upright mounting assembly. The exercise machine includes a plurality of exercise resistance cables connected at proximal end portions to the upright mounting assembly and extending around and outward, respectively, from the first and second pairs of spaced-apart pulley assemblies.
Training apparatus and system with musical feedback
A training apparatus includes adjustable resistance means; means for continuously determining an actual configuration of the training apparatus during exercise; means for generating a control signal for an audio device, the control signal being at least partially based on the actual configuration of the training apparatus; and means for outputting the control signal.
CRITICAL POWER ADAPTIVE TRAINING WITH VARYING PARAMETERS
An adaptive training system can determine a finite work capacity and critical power and use those determinations to generate an adaptive training programs for workout parameters. To determining a finite work capacity and critical power, the adaptive training system can receive workout data; generate data points by determining, for each workout, a maximum amount of work done for each of multiple time window sizes; fit these workout data points to a function; and determine a critical power and finite work capacity based on the fitted function. Once the adaptive training system has determined a critical power and finite work capacity, the adaptive training system can use them to generate an adaptive training program by keeping a function defined by a set of workout parameters below an ability function that is based on the critical power and finite work capacity.
CABINET AND EXERCISE APPARATUS
A cabinet, for storing and conveniently deploying a box-like exercise apparatus, has a small footprint, and receives and secures the exercise apparatus on the inside surface of the cabinet's front wall. The exercise apparatus may be quickly and easily deployed from its storage position upright and inside the cabinet, to its in-use position, horizontally in front of the cabinet on top of the inside wall surface, while the outside wall surface of the cabinet, in turn, rests horizontally on the floor. Overhead rods are extendable from the cabinet and securable in one or more extended positions, for use of the rods in various exercises. The cabinet may be at least temporarily secured to a wall to secure the cabinet, and also the exercise apparatus, including the overhead rods, in place during exercises. The cabinet allows a consumer to keep its fitness equipment easily accessible and ready to use.
Exercise Apparatus
A piece of exercise equipment particularly for improved strength training exercises. More particularly, the invention relates to equipment that allows the user to vary tension when performing different exercises. The present invention is specifically designed for improved exercise through the variability of a tension component for use in such exercises as the plank exercise, sit-ups, push-ups and supine pull-ups that includes a core support, a guide arm, a head support, and a foot support that work in conjunction to most optimally support the user. The core support, the head support and the foot support are all connected, supported, and elevated from the floor by a central support system.
