20180264311 · 2018-09-20 ·

The invention concerns a modular exercise system having a first support frame module having a plurality of frame members, each member being joined to an adjacent frame member and oriented in a common plane such that the first support frame is two-dimensional in form. The modular exercise system further requires a weight source mounted on the first support frame, a plurality of pulleys mounted to different frame members of the first support frame, and a cable running from the weight source over the pulleys to connect the weight source to one or more manual actuator for performing a resistance exercise in use. The first support frame has one or more attachment formation for selective attachment to one or more further support frame module. The further support frame module is also two-dimensional in form and attachable to the first support frame in an orientation within the common plane, wherein the further support frame module has one or more further manual actuator.

Modular Exercise Apparatus
20180243597 · 2018-08-30 ·

An exercise apparatus with base horizontal members forming a base polygon and ceiling horizontal members forming a ceiling polygon and a plurality of vertical members mounted at their lower ends to the base polygon and mounting the ceiling polygon spaced from the base polygon. A human interface permits athletes to exercise, and wheels mounted to the base polygon permit transport of the apparatus and attached equipment to a field or court. The base polygon includes two parallel skids and the human interface may be a pad permitting an athlete to push the apparatus horizontally when none or two of the wheels contact the ground. When no wheels contact the ground, the apparatus may be used in the manner of a weight rack, because the apparatus will not move along the ground without substantial force being applied.

Workout Bench

A workout bench is disclosed that has rectanguloid front and rear containers each connected with two opposing rectanguloid side containers therebetween. The front and rear containers are least partially open. Each side container is open at an outward, lateral side thereof. The containers are each flush at their top, bottom, and lateral sides. The containers each define an internal storage volume therein, with the front and rear containers accessible from their partially open top sides. The workout bench also has a benchtop pivotally fixed with the front container, with a selectively movable brace for holding the benchtop at one of a plurality of predefined angular positions with respect to the top sides of the containers. A plurality of feet project away from the bottom sides of at least two of the containers.

EXERCISE MACHINE HAVING ELASTIC EXERCISE RESISTANCE CABLES

There is provided an exercise machine. The machine includes an upright mounting assembly having a top and a bottom spaced-apart from the top. The machine includes a seat operatively connected to the mounting assembly. The machine includes a first pair of space-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the top of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a second pair of spaced-apart pulley assemblies rotatably mounted adjacent to the bottom of the mounting assembly. The machine includes a plurality of exercise resistance cables connected at proximal end portions to the mounting assembly and extending around and outward from the pulley assemblies.

TRAINING APPARATUS

A training apparatus 1 comprising a structure 3 and exercise equipment 5, wherein the structure 3 includes a first side wall 7, a second side wall 9 and a partition 11; the partition 11 extends between the first side wall 7 and the second side wall 9 and comprises a breaching door 17; and the exercise equipment 5 is fixed to an external surface of the structure 3.

Force Monitoring and Tracking System for Impacts to Tackling Sleds and Punching Bags
20180015328 · 2018-01-18 ·

A new system of detecting, tracking, and logging force of impact data pertaining to independent impacts to a tackling sled or punching bag is described. The system employs at least one impact sensor, a wireless transmitter, a power source, and a companion application. The at least one impact sensor is equipped with at least one accelerometer configured to accurately detect the force of impact to a pad of the tackling sled or punching bag. The companion application communicates wirelessly to the impact sensor, which relays data to a mobile device or computer running the companion application. A leaderboard can be interfaced with the system, enabling competitive use of multiple impact sensors across multiple punching bags simultaneously.

CRITICAL POWER ADAPTIVE TRAINING WITH VARYING PARAMETERS
20240399203 · 2024-12-05 · ·

An adaptive training system can determine a finite work capacity and critical power and use those determinations to generate an adaptive training programs for workout parameters. To determining a finite work capacity and critical power, the adaptive training system can receive workout data; generate data points by determining, for each workout, a maximum amount of work done for each of multiple time window sizes; fit these workout data points to a function; and determine a critical power and finite work capacity based on the fitted function. Once the adaptive training system has determined a critical power and finite work capacity, the adaptive training system can use them to generate an adaptive training program by keeping a function defined by a set of workout parameters below an ability function that is based on the critical power and finite work capacity.

Remote Configuration and Operation of Fitness Studios from a Central Server
20170173395 · 2017-06-22 · ·

A method for configuring and operating one or more fitness studios each comprising a plurality of exercise stations at which users perform associated exercise routines, each station having an associated display, the method comprising, for each fitness studio, periodically retrieving, by a server from a database, fitness information for the studio in question for a specified period, from a multi-period fitness library; communicating, by the server to a studio computer, the retrieved fitness information over a communications network; periodically receiving, by the studio computer, the retrieved fitness information; configuring the exercise stations dependent upon the received fitness information; and communicating, by the studio computer to the exercise station displays, dependent upon the received fitness information, station directions to users exercising at the stations for performing an exercise.

Training Apparatus

A training apparatus provides a modular frame for performing group exercises. The frame includes a first, second, third vertical posts configured upright on a horizontal supporting surface and a crossbeam extending from a top of the second vertical post and a top of the third vertical post. The first vertical post and the second vertical post define a first vertical plane. The first vertical post and the third vertical post define a second vertical plane. The first vertical plane and the second vertical plane are arranged at a substantially right angle to each other. The crossbeam is adapted to be assembled with at least one first training attachment which is adjustable in a horizontal position. The second vertical post and the third vertical post are both adapted to be assembled with a second training attachment which is adjustable in a vertical position.
