PIPE FIXING DEVICE
A pipe fixing device includes: first and second clamps that fix a pipe; and first and second engaging parts that are fixed to the pipe and engage respectively with the first and second clamps. The first clamp and the first engaging part configured to engage with each other such that the first engaging part is restrained from moving toward one side in an axial direction of the pipe and from moving in a circumferential direction of the pipe relative to the first clamp. The second clamp and the second engaging part configured to engage with each other such that the second engaging part is restrained from moving toward another side in the axial direction of the pipe and from moving in the circumferential direction of the pipe relative to the second clamp.
Air recirculation prevention check valve for the fuel drain manifold
A manifold configured to inhibit air recirculation in an engine fueling system, the manifold comprising: a housing including an internal chamber in communication with a high pressure pump (“HPP”) port configured to receive drain fuel from a HPP; a drain port configured to return fuel to a fuel tank; an air bleed port configured to receive air bled from the fueling system; and a check valve positioned within the internal chamber, the check valve configured to inhibit air from flowing from the air bleed port to the HPP port, thereby inhibiting air recirculation into the engine fueling system.
FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH REMOVABLE SUPPORTS
An in-tank fuel pump assembly may have a mounting flange with a plurality of first couplings, a fuel pump, a carrier connected to the fuel pump, a plurality of second couplings on at least one of the carrier and the fuel pump, and a plurality of supports each connected to one or the first and second couplings to locate the pump relative to the mounting flange.
Fuel tank assembly having crossover tube
A fuel tank assembly includes a primary fuel tank, a secondary fuel tank, a crossover tube, a fuel pump, a transfer tube, and a jet pump. The crossover tube is fluidly coupled with each of the primary fuel tank and the secondary fuel tank and defines a flow path for fuel to flow between the primary fuel tank and the secondary fuel. The fuel pump is disposed within the primary fuel tank and is configured to selectively supply fuel from the primary fuel tank to an engine. The transfer tube is routed internal to the crossover tube and is in fluid communication with each of the primary fuel tank and the secondary fuel tank. The jet pump is in fluid communication with the transfer tube and is configured to facilitate the flow of pressurized fuel from the secondary fuel tank, through the transfer tube, and into the primary fuel tank.
FUEL SUPPLY DEVICES
A fuel supply device includes a cover member attached to an opening of a fuel tank, a pump unit including a pump, and a connecting portion which connects the cover member and the pump unit. The pump unit is connected so as to be relatively movable with respect to the connecting portion when a connecting shaft which is formed as part of one of the connecting portion or the pump unit, is inserted into the connecting hole formed as part of the other of the two. The connecting hole has an elongated hole portion that allows the connecting shaft to move in the upward and downward directions, and allows the pump unit to be relatively movable with respect to the connecting portion. The pump unit includes an engagement portion abutting a lower terminal end of the connecting portion when the fuel supply device is attached to the fuel tank.
Outboard motor
An outboard motor includes a cylinder block, a cylinder head unit, a delivery pipe, a plurality of injectors, a fuel pump, and a fuel pipe. The cylinder block includes a plurality of cylinders. The cylinder head unit is connected to the cylinder block. The delivery pipe is attached to the cylinder head unit. The injectors are attached to the delivery pipe. The fuel pump is attached to the cylinder head unit. The fuel pipe is attached to the delivery pipe and the fuel pump. A first attachment direction of attaching the fuel pump to the cylinder head unit is parallel or substantially parallel to a second attachment direction of attaching the fuel pipe to the delivery pipe.
MULTILAYER TUBE
Provided is a multilayer tube that has a layer containing an aliphatic polyamide (such as Polyamide 11 or Polyamide 12), a layer containing a Polyamide 6 composition or Polyamide 6/66/12 composition, a layer containing a saponified ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and a layer containing a semi-aromatic polyamide composition that contains a semi-aromatic polyamide having a specific structure, and further has a fluorine-containing polymer in which a functional group having reactivity with an amino group is introduced into the molecular chain thereof.
FUEL RAIL FOR GASOLINE DIRECT-INJECTION ENGINE
Provided is a fuel rail for a gasoline direct-injection engine, characterized in that a branch connector is attached to a main pipe through a recessed connection member, the recessed connection member is secured to the main pipe by brazing or welding, the branch connector is recess-projection fitted to the recessed connection member and is detachably fastened thereto by a thread fastening mechanism or by a bolt fastening mechanism, and an O-ring provided between the recessed connection member and the branch connector is tightened by an axial force created by fastening of the branch connector to thereby create a seal between the recessed connection member and the branch connector; and a hardness of the branch connector is set to be lower than that of the branch pipe facing the branch connector.
FUEL RETURN DEVICE
A fuel return device to be mounted to a fuel tank for returning an excess fuel flowing out from an engine through a fuel return piping member to the fuel tank includes a fuel return pipe connected to the fuel return piping member. The fuel return pipe has an opening that is opened to an upper space formed in the fuel tank with the fuel return pipe mounted to the fuel tank.
Fuel pump having a motor housing and pump housing against one another
A fuel pump, in which a connecting piece for a fuel line and electrical connecting lines are radially guided in a motor housing, includes an electric motor. The motor housing has a section made of plastic such that the fuel pump has reduced axial dimensions.
