A fuel injector which includes an actuator having an electrical contact element, a plug, a fuel supply pipe, and an injection-molded housing part. The plug has a base body, an electrical connection element for an electrical connection with the electrical contact element of the actuator, and a rib which projects from the base body, the injection-molded housing part surrounding the electrical connection element of the plug and being injection-molded on the rib of the plug and the fuel supply pipe.

There is provided a damper unit that allows a plurality of damper bodies to be installed by simple work. The damper unit includes at least two damper bodies that are installed in a housing space so as to be stacked and include hermetically sealed spaces therein. The damper unit further an elastic member 7 that is disposed between the damper bodies, and a stopper that is installed across outer peripheral edge portions of the damper bodies positioned at both ends.

The sliding lock latch includes first and second wing elements to prevent clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation of the connector sleeve relative to the connector body. The sliding lock latch also includes a locking tab on its outer surface to prevent retraction of the connector sleeve from the connector body.

A recess is formed at an outer side of the connecting piece, in which, in the mounted state, an orienting element of the injector engages for restricting a rotational degree of freedom of the injector about the mounting axis. The connecting piece is post-processed after the forging so that a lateral surface of the recess is at least approximately configured with a predefined lateral height.
