Alignment element for an injector
A method for manufacturing an injector having an extrusion coating, including the following steps: providing an injection module, pushing a disk-shaped alignment element onto a part of the injection module, the alignment element having a slot in order to have sufficient flexibility, welding the alignment element onto the part of the injection module, at least part of the slot also being welded shut at the same time during the welding-on step in order to stiffen the alignment element, and molding the extrusion coating onto the injection module.
Arrangement for a fuel injection system with a fuel injection valve and a decoupling element
A decoupling element, for decoupling a fuel injection valve from a cylinder head, includes a body that, in the mounted state, surrounds a housing of the fuel injection valve. The body is fashioned to include a cylinder-side support region to be supported on the cylinder head, and a valve-side support region for supporting the fuel injection valve. When the fuel injection valve is supported at the valve-side support region, the body is loaded with pressure. Only the cylinder-side support region of the body is fashioned in the shape of a closed ring, which connects segments of the body distributed around a circumference. The decoupling element enables the reduction of the transmission of noise from the fuel injection valve to the cylinder head.
FUEL INJECTION HOLD DOWN BOLT REPAIR KIT
An improved apparatus for repairing fuel injector hold-down bolt holes is disclosed. The apparatus can be readily mounted to the passage through which the fuel injector passes via a flange that fits inside the passage and thus generally avoids the need to remove the engine in order to conduct the repairs. The apparatus further provides guides or bushings that allow for the precise alignment of various tools to repair the hold-down bolt hole.
CLIP FOR FUEL INJECTION VALVE AND FUEL INJECTION VALVE UNIT
A clip-for a fuel injection valve includes a load transmitting member-and a fitting member. The load transmitting member is formed from a single wire material and includes a contacting portion, which contacts a contactable surface formed in the fuel injection valve, a depressible portion, which is depressible in a downward direction by a pressing surface formed in a fuel supply conduit, and a spring portion, which is formed between one end of the contacting portion and the depressible portion and is resiliently deformable by a load. The fitting member-is formed separately from the load transmitting member and is connected to the load transmitting member on a side of the contacting portion, which is opposite from the spring portion. The fitting member is fittable to a fittable portion of the fuel supply conduit.
System having a fuel distributor and multiple fuel injectors
A system, which in particular is used as a fuel injection system for high-pressure injection in internal combustion engines, includes a fuel distributor and a plurality of fuel injectors. Each of the fuel injectors is situated on a cup of the fuel distributor. At least one of the fuel injectors is fastened to the associated cup by a retaining clip. The retaining clip has at least one clip section which is situated between an inner side of the cup and an outer side of the fuel injector. Furthermore, at least one damping composite element is provided, which is situated between the clip section of the retaining clip and the outer side of the fuel injector. The damping composite element has an elastically deformable damping layer. A decoupling is thus realized, which acts to damp vibrations and consequently to reduce noise.
Integrated arrangement of a high-pressure valve and an injection rail
An arrangement of a high-pressure valve at the end of a common rail of a fuel injection system, a high-pressure channel of the rail opening out at one extremity of the rail, includes a throttle stopper arranged at the extremity of the rail. An output orifice restricts a section of the high-pressure channel and a valve seat is positioned in the throttle stopper. The output channel is fully formed inside the valve body.
Fuel cup
A fuel cup including a central longitudinal axis and being fixable to an injector via a holder comprises a fuel cup body and a fixing element. This fuel cup is wherein said fixing element is a stamped tab affixed to said fuel cup body, and in that said stamped tab is designed to be engaged to said holder.
Fluid injection assembly for a combustion engine
A fluid injection assembly for a combustion engine includes an injector body having a notch, an injector cup, which radially encloses an axial end of the injector body and has a projecting part, and a spring clip arranged between the injector body and the injector cup. The spring clip includes a ground plate, at least one spring element, and at least one holding element engaging behind the projecting part of the injector cup. The ground plate is arranged in the notch of the injector body. The injector body and the injector cup are coupled together by the spring clip by mechanical interaction via the projecting part and the notch, respectively.
Fluids detection sensor and rail, in particular for automotive fuels
A sensor for detecting the properties of the fuel of an internal combustion engine includes at least one pair of internal electrodes (12, 13), extending in an axial direction relative to a further or third external electrode (14) which surrounds them. The invention also relates to a fuel rail (2) to which the sensor may be mounted, and a method for detecting the properties of the fluid.
Hold-down device for a fuel injection device
A hold-down device for a fuel injection device includes at least one fuel injector and a fuel distributor line, the hold-down device being clampable between the fuel injector and the fuel distributor line, the hold-down device having a partially ring-shaped base element, from which two axially flexible hold-down clips extend, in which the partially ring-shaped base element and the two axially flexible hold-down clips are formed together by a single bent wire.
