The teachings thereof may be embodied in an adjustment device for a fuel injection valve including a ring element to fit a recess of the cylinder head between a valve housing and the cylinder head to align the valve relative to the recess. The ring element may include a metallic coil spring and an elastomeric component surrounding and completely enveloping the metallic component.

A mechanical system, comprising a support element, a pin extending along a first axis and comprising two opposite ends, each adapted to be fitted in the support element for radial retention of the pin relative to the first axis, and a roller element movable in rotation relative to the pin around the first axis. The mechanical system includes two ribs resting on either side of the ends for axial retention of the pin along the first axis. The mechanical system can be integrated into either an injection pump or a valve actuator.
Fuel injection system having a fuel-conveying component, a fuel injector and a connecting device
A connecting device for fuel injection systems is used for joining a fuel injector to a cup and to a fuel-conveying component. In this context, connecting elements are provided, which are insertable into the cup in such a manner, that they are situated at least approximately in one plane, which is oriented perpendicularly to a longitudinal axis of a cup. Connecting elements take the form of pin-shaped connecting elements. In addition, the connecting elements are formed in such a manner, that they are inserted into the cup, inside an outer cross-section of the cup. A securing element is also provided for securing the connecting elements. Furthermore, a fuel injection system having such a connecting device is provided.
Fuel injector having a reduced number of components
A fuel injector which includes an actuator having an electrical contact element, a plug, a fuel supply pipe, and an injection-molded housing part. The plug has a base body, an electrical connection element for an electrical connection with the electrical contact element of the actuator, and a rib which projects from the base body, the injection-molded housing part surrounding the electrical connection element of the plug and being injection-molded on the rib of the plug and the fuel supply pipe.
SOLENOID VALVE
In order to reduce the friction of a dry-running solenoid valve (1) with a valve housing (2), in which an electric coil (3) and a magnet armature (5) are arranged, and with a valve element (8) which can be actuated by the magnet armature (5) in an axial actuating direction for opening and closing the solenoid valve (1), in which the coil (3) generates a magnetic flux which, when the solenoid valve (1) is actuated, flows via a magnetically conductive valve housing outer wall (2c) of the valve housing (2) to the magnet armature (5), it is provided according to the invention that a magnetically conductive flux element (12) be provided in the valve housing (2) and introduce at least 80%, preferably at least 90%, and particularly preferably 100%, of the magnetic flux flowing over the valve housing outer wall (2c) into an armature end face (5B), facing the coil (3), of the magnet armature (5).
SOLENOID VALVE
In order to provide a solenoid valve (1) with a valve housing (2), in which an electric coil (3) and a magnet armature (5) are arranged, and with a valve element (8) which can be actuated by the magnet armature (5) in an axial actuation direction for opening and closing the solenoid valve (1), wherein a valve lift of the valve element (8) can be limited in a simple manner, it is provided according to the invention that the coil (3) be arranged on a coil carrier (4), wherein an end section (4a), axially facing the magnet armature (5), of the coil carrier (4) is designed as an end stop for the magnet armature (5) in order to limit an axial movement of the magnet armature (5), and that the coil carrier (4) be formed from a plastic, wherein the coil (3) is at least partially integrated into the coil carrier (4).
COMPONENT, IN PARTICULAR FUEL LINE OR FUEL DISTRIBUTOR, AND FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
A component, which can be in the form of a fuel line or fuel distributor, is used for a fuel injection system, which is used for injecting fuel or a mixture of fuel and water having a variable water content. The component has a main body on which is provided a high-pressure inlet and at least one high-pressure outlet, the fuel, respectively the mixture being passable from the high-pressure inlet through an inner space of the main body to the least one high-pressure outlet, and an insertion member being configured in the inner space. The insertion member is at least partially made of at least a material having a modulus of compression specified to at least substantially correspond to or be lower than that of the fuel, respectively the mixture and/or lower than 30 GPa.
Fuel pump adapter
In at least some implementations, an adapter, for a fuel pump having a casing, has a base having an axis and an opening through which fluid may flow, and multiple tabs connected to the base. The tabs are circumferentially spaced apart with a void between at least part of the tabs, and at least two tabs have a contact portion that extends radially inwardly to define a minimum diameter opening between the tabs. Each contact portion extends along a portion less than all of the surface areas of the radially inner surface of the tabs.
