SPORTING DEVICE
The invention relates to a sports item (1), comprising a carrier (3) for a coupling device (25) for accommodating a user and including at least one distributing device (2) for the loads and/or forces to be transmitted to the sports item (1), which at least one distributing device (2) connects the carrier (3) to the sports item (1) via a joint arrangement, the latter having at least one pivoting arm (4, 5; 6, 7), which is pivotably connected, in each case via a joint (8, 9; 10, 11), to the sports item (1) at one arm end of the pivoting arm and to the carrier (3) at the other arm end of the pivoting arm, wherein the carrier (3) is movable from a starting position, counter to the restoring force of at least one elastic restoring element, to a balancing position in which the carrier is brought closer to the sports item (1). The sports item (1) according to the invention is characterized in that the at least one restoring element is an elastically deformable spring element (12; 13), which is held at one end on the carrier (3) and at the other end on the sports item (1).
Support plate for a gliding board
A support plate for a binding for a gliding board that includes the following: a chassis to be fixed on an upper surface of the gliding board; a damping plate intended to be at least partially interposed between a lower surface of the chassis and the upper surface of the gliding board. The support plate includes a wedge that is less compressible than the damping plate, movable between a hardness configuration, suitable for transmitting a vertical force from the chassis to the upper surface of a gliding board, and inhibiting, at least partially, the compression of the damping plate and between a flexibility configuration, suitable for the force to be retransmitted from the chassis to the upper surface of a gliding board, mainly via the damping plate.
SKIS WITH REINFORCEMENT LAYER CUTOUT
A ski may define a body that defines a tip, a tail opposite the tip, a top sheet, a base extending from the tip to the tail and opposite the top sheet, a core layer positioned between the base and the top sheet, and a reinforcement layer positioned between the top sheet and the base. The reinforcement layer defines an aperture extending through the reinforcement layer and positioned within a first third of a length of the ski, the length defined from the tip to the tail.
Ski suspension system and method
Device and methods for a ski assembly system and snowboard assembly system having a ski or snowboard with a centerline axis, a perpendicular axis, and a ski suspension system. The ski or snowboard suspension system has a suspension platform with two or more struts rotatably coupled with the suspension platform and at least one of a front mount assembly and a rear mount assembly.

Automatically adaptive ski
A ski for use on ice or snow is disclosed. The ski includes a ski body having a tip portion, a tail portion, and a longitudinal running length extending between the tip portion and the tail portion and a substantially flat bottom surface for sliding on snow or ice. The ski also includes a suspension system comprised of a substantially rigid support structure secured to the longitudinally central region of the said ski body at two attachment locations separated by a distance of at least 5 inches along the longitudinal axis of the ski body, and at least one resilient element configured to exert an opposing force between the support structure and the ski body in the area between the two attachment locations.

System and methods for adjusting variable variable geometry, height, weight distribution dynamics in orthotic devices and equipment
An active suspension orthotic support system is disclosed. The suspension orthotic support system comprises at least one variable resistance beam extending from a heel section to a mid-arch section of the footwear, wherein rotation of the variable resistance beam from a first position to a second position causes a resistance provided by the variable resistance beam to vary between a minimum resistance to a maximum resistance.

Composite sporting equipment
A sporting equipment is disclosed. The sporting equipment may include a harness, and a protective plate. The protective plate may be integrally formed with the harness from a plurality of fibers that are continuous from the harness into the protective plate.
