Portable pump

A portable pump is provided including an electric motor having a drive shaft connected to a gear assembly to drive a reciprocating air compressor arrangement. The reciprocating air compressor arrangement includes a crank that drives a connecting rod and a piston within a cylinder. The connecting rod has a first end and a second end and the first end of the rod is connected to the crank while the second end of the rod connected to the piston (to drive the piston in the cylinder and provide compression). The second end of the connecting rod is connected to the piston via a pin. The piston includes a sealing arrangement. A control unit is provided which is in electrical communication with the electric motor and the air compressor to control the operation of the pump arrangement. A power supply is also provided in electrical communication with the control unit to supply power to the control unit and electric motor. The pump is provided within a housing which accommodates the electric motor, the gear assembly, the reciprocating air compressor, the control unit and the power supply. A outlet connected to the reciprocating air compressor is also provided so as to engage with an object to be pumped.

A cooling medium channel for cooling at least a partial region of the cylinder head and an outlet channel for connecting the outlet valve to the pressure medium outlet are provided and extend through components of the cylinder head, at least in portions. In order to improve the cooling, at least a partial portion of the cooling medium channel and a partial portion of the outlet channel are allocated to the cylinder housing.

Compressor having an energy saving apparatus, and method for relieving the compressor

Compressor for generating compressed air for a commercial vehicle, having a housing with a piston chamber in a crankcase and a dead space which is configured at least in the cylinder head. The compressor has a valve device with a valve element which has an actuating section and a shut-off body for separating the dead space from the piston chamber, wherein the shut-off body can be lifted up from a valve seat in the direction of the piston chamber in order to open the valve device. The valve element is configured in one piece with the actuating section.

A muffler for a compressor and a compressor having the same are provided, in which a suction noise device and a discharge noise device may be integrally formed to reduce a number of components of a suction side muffler and a discharge side muffler so as to reduce leakage of refrigerant generated at an assembled portion of the muffler, and to reduce a length of a suction passage and a discharge passage. Such a division between the suction noise device and the discharge noise device may prevent discharged refrigerant from unintentionally heating suctioned refrigerant, which may reduce suction loss. The formation of the suction and discharge noise devices using a plastic material may reduce fabricating costs, and the structures of the suction and discharge side noise spaces may be simplified and noise removal effects may be improved, reducing an overall size of the muffler and improving noise effects.

An electric-driven air pump includes an outer housing unit, an electric-driven mechanism and a piston mechanism. The outer housing unit includes a connecting seat with a gas outlet section, and a cylinder with a cylinder chamber. The electric mechanism is mounted to the outer housing unit and includes a motor. The piston mechanism includes a driven piston disposed in the cylinder chamber, a threaded driving rod formed with a helical guide slot, rotated by the motor, and connected to the driven piston such that rotation of the threaded driving rod drives reciprocal movement of the driven piston in the cylinder chamber, and a guide pin fixed in the driven piston and extending into the helical guide slot to be driven along the helical guide slot.

The root and branches of the resilient sheet are individually attached to a top wall of the cylinder at separate points, so that each of the branches can be individually moved by the compressed air produced in the cylinder to open or close the corresponding exit hole without affecting movements of the other branches, so that the piston body can conduct reciprocating motion more smoothly, and thus the performance of the air compressor can be increased.
