Pumping system
Provided is a pumping system that includes a parallel dual chamber pumping mechanism and an attachable disposable cassette. The disposable cassette includes a multi-laminate membrane which facilitates efficient, accurate and uniform delivery of fluids. The multi-laminate membrane is held in intimate contact with the pumping fingers of the pumping mechanism by electrostatic or magnetic attraction, thereby allowing the pump to pull a vacuum without the need for a preloaded elastomeric pumping segment.
Double membrane for a dust pump
A double membrane for a diaphragm pump for fluidizing, covering and conveying dusty products, such as, for example, pulverized coal, with the aid of an inert gas at pressures of up to 7 MPa, the diaphragm pump having a porous, curved loosening element made from aluminum, monitors and ensures the membrane tightness by designing the double membrane with an integrated pressure sensor for monitoring leakages. A hermetically tight separation between the hydraulic chamber and dust chamber of the diaphragm pump can therefore be ensured and damage to the membrane can be promptly identified. Complicated repair and cleaning measures of the entire dust system or hydraulic system in the event of membrane damage are prevented and the tightness of the membrane is maintained during the incident. Particular refinements relate to the composition of the individual membranes and the interaction thereof.
Peristaltic micropump and related systems and methods
A peristaltic micropump includes one or more flexible channels configured to transfer one or more pumped fluids, and an actuator configured to engage the one or more flexible channels and rotate about a central axis. The actuator includes a plurality of rolling elements and a driving element configured such that the driving element operably rotates about the central axis and each rolling element operably rolls about a respective axis that is not parallel to the central axis. The plurality of rolling elements is disposed between the one or more flexible channels and the driving element. The driving element includes a cage configured to capture the plurality of rolling elements such that the plurality of rolling elements is located at different radii from a center of the cage.
TUBEPHRAGM PUMP
A tubephragm pump includes a tubephragm that has a pump head portion that forms a pump chamber, a driving head that holds the tubephragm and expands and contracts the pump chamber by directly pressing and pulling the pump head portion in a direction intersecting with a transfer direction of a transfer fluid, a driving unit that drives the driving head back and forth in a driving direction to expand and contract the pump chamber, and a control unit that controls the driving unit. The tubephragm is in a flat shape with a cross-sectional shape intersecting with the transfer direction of the transfer fluid of the pump chamber having a length in a direction intersecting with the driving direction longer than a length in the driving direction. A pair of liquid contacting surfaces opposing in the driving direction of the pump chamber move while maintaining a parallel state.
POSITIVE DISPLACEMENT PUMP HAVING FLOW-PROMOTING SURFACES
The present invention relates to a positive displacement pump having a delivery chamber, which is connected to a discharge connection and a suction connection, characterized in that the surface of the delivery chamber is configured in the form of an at least partially microstructured surface. The at least partially microstructured surface has a multiplicity of ribs and channels located therebetween, these running in a direction along the direction of flow of the delivery medium. As a result of the surface being structured, the situation where gas bubbles stick is reliably prevented and the harmful gas volume is considerably reduced.
PUMP DEVICE FOR DELIVERY OF AT LEAST ONE DELIVERY MEANS
A pump device for delivery of at least one delivery means, particularly at least one fluid, with at least one drive unit and with at least one delivery device, particularly a delivery membrane comprising at least one, particularly at least substantially annular base body which is elastically deformable and comprises at least one delivery surface arranged on a delivery side of the base body and comprising at least one activation element for connection to at least one drive element of the drive unit, which is arranged on an activation side of the base body, the activation element being designed as a positive or non-positive element that cooperates with the drive element at least for the transfer of a driving force acting in a direction facing away from the activation side, by means of a positive and/or non-positive connection, particularly by means of a positive and/or non-positive connection without adhesive force.
Blower
A piezoelectric blower includes a first valve, a first housing, a vibrating plate, a piezoelectric element, a second housing, and a second valve. The first housing forms, together with the vibrating plate, a first blower chamber. A first top plate portion includes a first vent hole that allows an inside of the first blower chamber to communicate with an outside of the first blower chamber. The second housing forms, together with an actuator, a second blower chamber. A second top plate portion includes a second vent hole that allows an inside of the second blower chamber to communicate with an outside of the second blower chamber. The vibrating plate includes an opening portion and a third vent hole, the opening portion allowing an outer periphery of the first blower chamber and an outer periphery of the second blower chamber to communicate with each other.
Synthetic jet pump and an associated method thereof
A synthetic jet pump and a method of pumping fluid using such a synthetic jet pump are disclosed. The synthetic jet pump includes a plurality of first stacks disposed in a series arrangement relative to each other, and a plurality of first valves. A first stack of the plurality of first stacks includes a plurality of first connector pairs coupled to a first support structure and a plurality of first bimorph pairs. The first connector pairs and the first bimorph pairs are disposed in a parallel arrangement relative to each other respectively. A bimorph of one of the first bimorph pairs is coupled to a corresponding first connector pair. The plurality of first valves is disposed at an upstream end of the plurality of first stacks. A valve of the plurality of first valves is movably coupled to a corresponding connector of the plurality of the first connector pairs.
Compact pump and diaphragm assembly used therein
A compact pump includes a case, a diaphragm assembly disposed in the case at an upper position and includes diaphragm units which form respective pump chambers, and a swing body disposed in the case at a lower position and moves the plural diaphragm units in the top-bottom direction. The diaphragm assembly has intake valve elements for opening and closing respective air introduction holes. An upper cover of the case has an exhaust hole and ring-shaped recesses. The upper cover has tubular inner wall surfaces defining the respective ring-shaped recesses. The diaphragm assembly includes tubular exhaust valve elements which are disposed in the respective ring-shaped recesses so as to contact the plural respective tubular inner wall surfaces and a rib which is disposed at its center in the vicinity of the exhaust hole and connects center-side outer wall surfaces of the tubular exhaust valve elements.
