Valveless hydraulic system

Disclosed herein is an integrated pump system in which a motor is directly coupled to a pump, preferably using a modular connection. The integrated pump system may operate in a uni-directional or bi-directional mode. The integrated pump system incorporates an internal cooling channel which directs the returning low pressure hydraulic fluid past the controller and the motor for cooling purposes. The low pressure hydraulic fluid is also directly fed into the coupling between the motor and the pump to provide both cooling and lubrication.

Controlling the flow of fluid to high pressure pumps

A hydraulic fracturing system can include valve apparatuses that control the delivery of fluid to high-pressure pumps that supply the fluid to a wellhead. The valve apparatuses can receive electronic signals from a control system to regulate the flow rate of the fluid to the high-pressure pumps. In one or more examples, the flow rate of the fluid can be controlled such that proppant in the fluid remains in solution.

The present invention refers to a method and system for reducing noise and positioning of piston (15) in starting failure of engine (20) configured to significantly reduce the noise generated during a starting failure of the engine (20), in addition to allow the piston (15) to be positioned in a position more favorable to a new start.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING NOISE IN COMPACT HIGH SPEED AND HIGH FORCE HYDRAULIC ACTUATORS

Presented herein are systems and methods for attenuating certain pulsations in a hydraulic system comprising a pump and a hydraulic actuator. In certain aspects, an accumulator comprising an internal volume that is divided into a working chamber and a contained chamber may be utilized to at least partially attenuate propagation of certain pulsations in the system. The working chamber may be fluidically coupled to the pump via a first flow path and fluidically coupled to a chamber of the actuator via a second flow path. The system may be designed such that a first inertance of the first flow path is greater than a second inertance of the second flow path. Additionally or alternatively, the system may be designed such that a resonance associated with the first inertance and a compliance of the accumulator may occur at a resonance frequency of less than 90 Hz.

MONITORING AND CONTROLLING THE MONITORING OF VACUUM SYSTEMS

A method of controlling monitoring of a vacuum system, the vacuum system, and the monitoring control system are disclosed. The method comprises: selecting at least one of a plurality of processes for monitoring the vacuum system from a data store storing the plurality of processes. Executing the at least one selected process Wherein one of the at least one selected processes comprises a process for monitoring a parameter of the vacuum system and for responding to changes in the parameter to trigger at least one of: execution of a further one of the plurality of processes; output of an alarm or notification signal; and output of a control signal for controlling operation of at least one component of the vacuum system.

Plunger Lift Systems and Related Methods

A plunger lift system, as well as a method for monitoring plunger parameters within a wellbore using such a plunger lift system, are provided. The plunger lift system includes a lubricator attached to a wellhead at the surface and a plunger dimensioned to travel through the production tubing upon being released from the lubricator. The plunger lift system also includes magnetic sensor systems installed along the production tubing, where each magnetic sensor system includes a magnetic sensor for detecting the passage of the plunger as it travels through the production tubing, as well a communication device for transmitting communication signals between the magnetic sensor systems and a computing system located at the surface, where the computing system includes a processor and a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium including computer-executable instructions that direct the processor to dynamically determine the plunger position and/or velocity based on the received communication signals.

SUMP PUMP SYSTEM, INCLUDING SUMP PUMP MONITOR AND APPLICATION

The present invention provides a sump pump system, including a sump pump monitor and application. The sump pump system includes a sump pump. Components of the sump pump system are installed in and/or near a sump. The sump collects liquid, such as water, from an inlet pipe. The sump pump is operable to remove water from the sump. The sump pump is fluidly connected to a discharge pipe. The discharge pipe is operable to carry water from the sump pump to a storm sewer or other discharge point.

Capacitive liquid leak detection device

A liquid leak detector for a pump is described. The liquid leak detector is mountable on a pump to detect leaked fluid coming from the pump. The leak detector includes a buffer tube positioned on the pump to collect a leaked fluid from the pump and a sensor positioned on the buffer tube to detect the level of leaked fluid in the buffer tube and to generate a signal when the leaked fluid reaches a maximum fluid level. A purge line on the buffer tube removes leaked drive fluid from the buffer tube once the leaked drive fluid reaches a maximum level. Logic connected to the sensor receives the signal from the detector and generates an alarm.

Rubidium elution system control

Embodiments of the present invention provide for assessing the state of an .sup.82Rb elution system. In certain embodiments, a system begins an assessment that comprises an elution, and a metric may be measured. This metric may be a concentration of .sup.82Rb, .sup.82Sr, or .sup.85Sr in a fluid that is eluted from the generator, the volume of the fluid that is eluted from the generator, or the pressure of the fluid flowing through at least one portion of the system. If the assessment is completed, an output may be generated on a user interface that recommends a course of action, or no course of action, based on a result of the assessment. Should the assessment not complete successfully because it is interrupted, a .sup.82Sr/.sup.82Rb generator of the system may be halted so as to prevent a user from performing an end-run around these quality control mechanisms of the .sup.82Rb elution system.
