A scroll compressor including a casing; an orbiting scroll orbitingly moved inside the casing; a fixed scroll engaged with the orbiting scroll to form a pair of compression chambers; and a main frame supporting the orbiting scroll, wherein the fixed scroll includes a fixed scroll base plate and a fixed scroll wrap protruding from the fixed scroll base plate, wherein the main frame includes a main frame base plate provided on an opposite side of the fixed scroll base plate with respect to the orbiting scroll, and wherein the fixed scroll base plate, the main frame base plate and the casing may form an orbiting space of the orbiting scroll. An orbiting radius of the orbiting scroll is increased inside the casing having a predetermined size, so a refrigerant discharge amount is increased in a state in which the orbiting scroll and the fixed scroll are accommodated inside the casing.

SCROLL COMPRESSOR

A scroll compressor includes a housing, a rotary shaft rotatably supported by the housing, a fixed scroll accommodated in the housing and fixed to the housing, an orbiting scroll that orbits as the rotary shaft rotates, a compression chamber defined between the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll, a discharge chamber, and an oil passage. A refrigerant taken in from the outside is compressed in the compression chamber. The refrigerant compressed in the compression chamber is discharged into the discharge chamber. An outer peripheral space connected to the compression chamber is defined between the outer peripheral surface of the fixed scroll and the inner peripheral surface of the housing. Oil separated from the refrigerant discharged into the discharge chamber is guided to the outer peripheral space through the oil passage.

The present disclosure discloses a fixed scroll and a scroll compressor with the same. The fixed scroll includes: an end plate; a fixed scroll wrap protruding from one surface of the end plate; and an internal cavity formed in the end plate. By adopting the fixed scroll and the scroll compressor with the fixed scroll according to the embodiment of the present disclosure, a weight of the scroll compressor may be reduced for example.

A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. A base plate of at least one of the fixed scroll and the orbiting scroll includes an auxiliary discharge port and a groove. The groove is partially covered with an orbiting volute wall facing the groove, so that a compression chamber that is in a compression process and is connected to the auxiliary discharge port is not connected to other compression chambers in a compression process or to a compression chamber connected to a main discharge port. The groove is always connected to one of the compression chambers.

Scroll compressor including a buffer member between a shaft and a recess part of an eccentric bush

A scroll compressor includes a shaft being rotated by a drive source, an eccentric bush including a recess part into which the shaft is inserted and an eccentric part being eccentric to the shaft, an orbiting scroll configured to perform an orbiting motion in interlock with the eccentric part, a fixed scroll tooth-engaged with the orbiting scroll, and a buffer member configured to prevent an outer periphery of the shaft and an inner periphery of the recess part from coming in contact with each other, wherein the buffer member is formed to be able to perform a relative motion with respect to the shaft and the recess part. Accordingly, the scrolls are prevented from being damaged, an impact sound is prevented from being generated, and an increase of an inertial force and an unbalance force of a rotating body is suppressed.

The multi-compressor system (7) has a plurality of parallelly coupled compressors (8); inlet connection lines (15) each connected to a refrigerant suction fitting of a respective compressor (8); outlet connection lines (17) each connected to a refrigerant discharge fitting of a respective compressor (8); a common oil balancing line (18) and balancing connection lines (19) each connecting the common oil balancing line (18) to an oil balancing connection (21) of a respective compressor (8); and spring-loaded normally-open valves (25) each being arranged within a respective balancing connection line (19) or within an oil balancing connection (21) of a respective compressor (8) and each being configured to close when a pressure difference between a pressure prevailing in the low pressure volume of the respective compressor (8) and a pressure prevailing in the common oil balancing line (18) reaches a predetermined value.

Compressor having directed suction

A compressor includes a shell assembly, a compression mechanism and a conduit. The shell assembly defines a chamber. The compression mechanism is disposed within the chamber of the shell assembly and includes a first scroll member and a second scroll member in meshing engagement with each other. The second scroll member includes a suction inlet. The conduit directs working fluid into the suction inlet and includes a first end defining an inlet opening and a second end defining an outlet opening adjacent to the suction inlet. The second end includes a locating pin that extends outwardly therefrom.

SYSTEM AND PROCESS FOR RECOVERING FUGITIVE GAS EMISSIONS

This invention generally relates to a system and process for recovering fugitive gas emissions, and more particularly, systems and processes for recovering wet and dry gas emissions from reciprocating compressor packing boxes, gas-operated control valves and pumps, and other packing systems that leak under normal operating conditions. The system and process recover fugitive gases from a compressor packing case and pneumatic components by utilizing a backpressure regulator to maintain a positive pressure in the packing case and pneumatic components and then producing a vacuum to capture and transport any fugitive gas emissions. The recovered emissions are then pressurized to meet the pressures necessary to reenter the first stage of the compressor packing case or the compressor fuel gas system.

Scroll fluid machine having separable main body unit and motor unit

A scroll-type fluid machine includes a motor unit and a main body. The motor unit includes a rotor, a stator, a shaft provided with an eccentric portion at a distal end of the shaft and configured to rotate integrally with the rotor, a main bearing configured to support the shaft, and a motor cover configured to house the rotor and the stator. The main bearing is fixed to an inside of the motor cover by a fixing flange. The main bearing supports the shaft and is located between the fixing flange and an end bracket on an opposite side of the main body unit with respect to the fixing flange.
