A rotary-vane internal combustion engine of the cat and mouse or scissor type with coordinated rotation of two co-axial shafts with position sensors creating chambers of variable volume for intake, compression, power and exhaust strokes. The total work done and angular speed is calculated or empirically determined while an alternating accelerating or decelerating torque is applied for a continuous, uniform rotation cycle.

Tip seal

A tip seal for scroll wraps in a scroll compressor is provided. The tip seal may include surface features to form a tortuous flow path in a seal groove of a scroll wrap. The surface features can help form one or more contraction and/or expansion areas in the tortuous flow path. The tortuous flow path can help provide resistance to fluid flow and help reduce leakage through the seal groove.

Wherein, given that the direction directed from the second valve sheet member to the first valve sheet member is a first direction, when the pressure difference across two sides of the first valve sheet member and the second valve sheet member is directed to the first direction and is greater than or equal to a first preset value, the first valve sheet member is opened; when the pressure difference is directed to a second direction opposite to the first direction and is greater than or equal to a second preset value, the second valve sheet member is opened. Also disclosed is a scroll compressor comprising the pressure control valve. Also disclosed is a scroll compressor comprising a throttle valve for preventing or weakening the return flow from the back-pressure chamber to the pressure chamber.

Compressor

A compressor provided with an oil stabilizing member capable of preventing oil stored in an oil storage space from being scattered is provided. A compressor may include a closed container provided with an inlet port and an outlet port, a compression unit configured to compress refrigerant introduced into an inside the closed container through the inlet port, a driving unit configured to provide a driving force to drive the compression unit, a rotating shaft configured to deliver the driving force to the compression unit, an oil storage space formed at a lower portion of an inside the closed container and configured to store a predetermined oil to come into contact with one end portion of the rotating shaft, and an oil stabilizing member installed so as to move along a surface of oil formed at the oil storage space, thereby preventing the oil from being scattered and thus released through the outlet port, wherein the oil stabilizing member floating on the surface of the oil prevents oil from being scattered upward according to operation of the compressor.
