Case or Cover for Hobby Equipment
The invention relates to a cover or case for goods, in particular for use as a cover or case for hobby or sports equipment. In an embodiment, the case has an inner portion, formed of expanded polypropylene (ePP) and defining a cavity for receiving at least part of the item. The case also includes an outer layer, formed of self-reinforcing polypropylene (srPP), arranged to cover an outer surface of at least part of the inner portion. In further embodiments, the cover is formed of two or more sections that may be arranged to at least partially overlap, wherein adjusting the overlap of the at least two sections changes the dimensions of an inner cavity within the cover or case. The case may be telescoping, in order to provide adjustable dimensions for a cavity within the case.
SKI AND SNOWBOARD TIP PROTECTION SOCK
An three-dimensional geometric shaped case protection accessory includes a layer of durable, flexible fabric shaped to encase a ski or snowboard tip. The accessory has a proximal open end for introduction of the ski or snowboard tip and a closed distal end for covering the distal end of the ski or snowboard tip. The fabric is of sufficient length to cover from the distal end of a ski or snowboard tip to a portion of the ski or snowboard adjacent to the tip. A compression mechanism in the encasement allows for the accessory to be readily secured to and removed from the ski or snowboard tip without interfering with the application or removal process. The fabric and compression mechanism are sufficiently durable to withstand environmental elements and physical impacts during use, while providing flexibility and elasticity to conform to various ski and snowboard tip designs.
SKI PROTECTION DEVICE
A ski protection device that is configured to be surroundably mounted to a snow ski so as to provide protection thereof wherein the present invention further facilitates an ability for a user to transport the snow ski while encased in the present invention on a conventional roof rack. The present invention includes a body having a wall member manufactured from nylon or similar material that creates an interior volume suitable for disposing a snow ski therein. The body of the present invention includes a first portion and a second portion contiguously formed wherein the second portion has a width greater than that of the first portion. Proximate the second end of the body is an end portion. The end portion is movable to a second position wherein the end portion is folded back over to be adjacent the second end of the body and secured thereto utilizing a strap member.
ENCLOSURE FOR EQUIPMENT AND METHOD OF USE
In accordance with one embodiment of the present disclosure, an enclosure for equipment is described. The enclosure can include a body that defines an outer surface and encloses an interior. The body can have a longitudinal axis the extends between a first end of the body and a second end of the body opposite the first end. The interior can include first, second, and third compartments that are disposed in series along the longitudinal axis. The first compartment can have a first cross-sectional area, the second compartment can have a second cross-sectional area, and the third compartment can have a third cross-sectional area, with the second cross-sectional area being larger than the first and third cross-sectional areas. The enclosure can also include an opening that extends across at least a portion of one of the first, second, and third compartments.
