Axial pressure relief in slide bearings of pumps
A pump is described, including: a drive shaft including a rotor; a first housing part and a second housing part, between which a pump chamber is formed, in which the rotor is arranged; a rotary bearing via which the drive shaft is mounted on the first housing part such that it can rotate about its rotational axis; and a passage including a first opening and a second opening, wherein the rotary bearing is arranged between the pump chamber and the first opening, and the second opening of the passage emerges onto the side of the second housing part which faces away from the pump chamber.
ROUGH-VACUUM PUMP OF DRY TYPE
A rough-vacuum pump of dry type includes a duct formed in the stator and of which an inlet orifice is intended to be connected to at least one source of purge gas and of which at least one outlet orifice communicates with the last pumping stage communicating with the delivery and a device for injecting a heated purge gas including a heating device to at least partly heat the purge gas injected into the duct to a temperature higher than 40° C.
HIGH PRESSURE GAS SEALING
A gas processing system includes a vessel defining a cavity for processing a gas. The vessel includes a process gas inlet for accepting process gas at an input pressure, and a process gas outlet for discharging process gas at an output pressure. The gas processing system further includes a shaft coupled to the vessel and a multistage sealing system comprising multiple seals spaced along the shaft. The shaft is configured to transfer mechanical energy to or from gas in the vessel. Each adjacent pair of seals defines a corresponding pressure space therebetween. One of the pressure spaces is an equalizing pressure space in hydraulic communication with the process gas inlet via a flow line, such that in operation, pressure in the equalizing pressure space is maintained at an equalized pressure with respect to a pressure in the process gas inlet.
OIL-FREE WATER-INJECTED SCREW AIR COMPRESSOR
An oil-free water-injected screw air compressor comprises a housing that encloses two rotors for generating compressed air, an air water separator for separating the water from the compressed air. Injecting water during compression can remove the heat of compression and thus enhance efficiency of compression. However, injecting water may complicate bearing lubrication. According to the present subject matter, these challenges are tackled using a sealing system for isolation of bearing lubricant from water used for cooling.
VACUUM PUMP
Vacuum pump having a housing which defines a pump chamber and a drive chamber. A rotor is arranged in the housing, wherein the rotor has at least one rotor element arranged in the pump chamber for conveying a gaseous medium from an inlet to an outlet. Therein, the rotor extends from the pump chamber through a shaft feedthrough into the drive chamber. The shaft feedthrough has a connection, wherein the connection is connected to an underpressure, so that a barrier gas flows from the drive chamber at least partially through the shaft feedthrough to the connection.
Screw compressor with multi-layered coating of the rotor screws
The invention relates to a screw compressor comprising a compressor housing (11) having two rotor screws (1, 2) mounted axially parallel therein, which mesh with each other in a compression space (18), can be driven by a drive and are synchronized with each other in their rotational movement, wherein the rotor screws (1, 2) each have a single-part or multi-part base body (24) with two end faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d) and a profiled surface (12a, 12b) extending therebetween, and shaft ends (30) projecting beyond the end faces (5a, 5b, 5c, 5d), wherein at least the profiled surface (12a, 12b) is formed in multiple layers, comprising a first, inner layer (3) and a second, outer layer (4), wherein the first, inner layer (3) and the second, outer layer (4) both comprise or are formed from a thermoplastic synthetic material, wherein particles (25) or pores (32) supporting a running-in process are embedded in the second, outer layer (4) and the thermoplastic synthetic material defines a matrix for receiving the particles (25) or for forming the pores (32).
Cantilever vertical screw vacuum pump
A cantilever vertical screw vacuum pump is provided. The vacuum pump has a lubrication system, in the system, an oil splashing sleeve splashes lubricating oil in an oil chamber, the lubricating oil is splashed to the oil guide plates and enters two inner shaft sleeves through oil inlet holes, the lubricating oil is splashed by rotations of lower bearings to lubricate upper bearings and bearing gland oil seal assemblies. A fit between an oil baffle and a lower cover shaft sleeve is a clearance fit, and the oil baffle prevents the lubricating oil from entering a vertical motor. A pressure difference between screw rods is used to output reflux air from a near exhaust end of the screw rods, the reflux air is cooled in a coolant by a reflux cooling pipe, and the cooled reflux air is delivered to the screw rods to reduce an air temperature of the pump chamber.
