A rotary pump, preferably a vacuum pump, featuring: a delivery space including an inlet on a low-pressure side and an outlet on a high-pressure side of the pump; a rotor which is arranged in the delivery space and delivers a fluid from the inlet into the delivery space to the outlet from the delivery space; at least one housing part which delineates the delivery space at least axially; and a drive shaft which is connected in drive terms to the rotor; including at least one sealing element which is connected, secured against shifting and/or rotating, to the drive shaft and/or rotor and forms a radial sealing gap with the housing part.
MOTOR-DRIVEN SCROLL ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR
A motor-driven scroll type compressor that includes: a housing; a rotary shaft; an electric motor; and a compression part including a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. The housing includes a separation wall separating a back pressure chamber from a motor chamber. The separation wall includes a bearing and a seal member having an inner circumference seal portion and an outer circumference seal portion. The seal member seals the back pressure chamber and the motor chamber. An end of the inner circumference seal portion is provided closer to the bearing than an end of the outer circumference seal portion is. The separation wall includes a holding portion being in contact with the end of the outer circumference seal portion to restrict movement of the seal member toward the bearing. The end of the inner circumference seal portion is provided closer to the bearing than the holding portion is.
Liquid ring vacuum pump
The present invention relates to a two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump in which two-stage impellers are attached to an axial end portion of a main shaft (rotating shaft) of a motor. The two-stage liquid ring vacuum pump includes a first-stage impeller (4) provided in a first-stage pump chamber (1), a second-stage impeller (5) provided in a second-stage pump chamber (2), a single rotating shaft (7) to which the first-stage impeller (4) and the second-stage impeller (5) are fixed, and an exhaust port (Pd) of the first-stage pump chamber (1) and an intake port (Ps) of the second-stage pump chamber (2) which communicate with each other. An outer diameter of the first-stage impeller (4) is larger than an outer diameter of the second-stage impeller (5).
High suction pressure single screw compressor with thrust balancing load using shaft seal pressure and related methods
A high suction pressure thrust load balance assembly configured for use with a single screw compressor includes comprises a sealing baffle that is keyed to, so as to be rotatable along with, a main rotor drive shaft of the single screw compressor. The sealing baffle is configured to create a force or load to counteract the axial force of the main rotor drive shaft created during rotation of the main rotor drive shaft using the pressurized oil used to lubricate the mechanical shaft seal of the compressor.
Compressor having bushing
A compressor includes a non-orbiting scroll, an orbiting scroll, a driveshaft, a bearing housing and a bushing. The non-orbiting scroll includes a first spiral wrap. The orbiting scroll includes an end plate having a first side and a second side. The first side has a second spiral wrap that extends therefrom and meshingly engages with the first spiral wrap of the non-orbiting scroll. The second side has a hub extending therefrom. The driveshaft has a crankpin that is received in the hub and that drives the orbiting scroll. The bushing includes a first member and a second member. The first member is disposed within the hub of the orbiting scroll between the hub and the crankpin of the driveshaft. The second member extends radially from the first member and is disposed between the hub and the bearing housing.
DRY-TYPE VACUUM PUMP
A dry vacuum pump includes: at least one oil sump; at least one pumping stage; two rotary shafts respectively supporting at least one rotor extending into the at least one pumping stage, the rotors being configured to rotate in a synchronized manner in the reverse direction in order to convey a gas to be pumped between an intake and an outlet of the vacuum pump, the shafts being supported by bearings lubricated by a lubricant contained in the at least one oil sump; at least one lubricant sealing device interposed between the at least one oil sump and a pumping stage at the shaft passage; and at least one expansion device configured to reduce the pressure variations between a pumping side volume and the at least one oil sump.
FLUID-INJECTED COMPRESSOR INSTALLATION
Fluid-injected compressor installation (1) which is provided with: a screw compressor (2) with a compression housing (4) in which a pair of compressor rotors (6a, 6b) are mounted; a drive motor (3) with a motor housing (9) in which a motor shaft (11) is mounted which drives the compressor rotors (6a, 6b); an inlet (7) and an outlet (8) on the screw compressor (2) for the supply of a gas and for the discharge of compressed gas;
with the compression housing (4) and the motor housing (9) being directly joined to each other; characterised in that the compressor installation (1) is provided with: a gear transmission (20) between the shaft (16) of one of the compressor rotors (6a, 6b) and the motor shaft (11), consisting of a driven gear (18) and a driving gear (19); a motor bearing (21) on the motor shaft (11) next to the driving gear (19), and a dynamic seal (25) next to the aforementioned motor bearing (21), on the drive motor (3) side, such that the motor bearing (21) is between the driving gear (19) and the seal (25).
MECHANICAL SEAL ASSEMBLY WITH DOUBLE-SEALING PROPERTIES AND LOW PRESSURE AREA
A mechanical seal of the cartridge type. A rotary subassembly includes a sleeve, the sleeve packed against and adapted to be in sealing disposition with a pump shaft of a pump. A stationary subassembly is for attachment to a stuffing box of the pump, the stationary subassembly including a gland, the gland having a front face and a back face and a gland lip extending from the back face. A lip seal is disposed within the gland at the back face below the gland lip, wherein the lip seal concurrently seals and acts as a secondary lubricant within the seal. In addition, a scroll is crimped onto said sleeve of the rotary subassembly at the downshaft end thereof, wherein the scroll includes a spirally-arranged, ridged outer surface.
DRY VACUUM PUMP
A dry vacuum pump is provided, including an oil sump; a pumping stage; two rotating shafts respectively holding a rotor extending in the pumping stage, the rotor being configured to rotate in a synchronised manner in opposite directions in order to carry a gas to be pumped between an intake and a discharge of the pump, the two rotating shafts being supported by bearings lubricated by a lubricant contained in the oil sump; and a lubricant sealing device inserted between the oil sump and a pumping stage at each shaft passage, the sealing device including a disc-shaped deflector mounted on a shaft of the two rotating shafts for rotation therewith, and a disc of the deflector has an annular end on a periphery thereof, extending towards the pumping stage, forming a retaining recess.
Oil-free screw compressor
The oil-free screw compressor includes: a screw rotor including a screw and a shaft; a bearing; a first shaft seal device disposed between the screw and the bearing, the first shaft seal device including: a first seal and a first communication section; a second shaft seal device disposed between the first shaft seal device and the bearing, the second shaft seal device including: a second seal and a second communication section; and a first seal member including a seal between the first communication section and the second communication section. The casing includes an atmosphere communication section configured to communicate the first communication section and the second communication section with an atmosphere. A sectional area in the first communication section is larger than a sectional area between the seal of the first seal member and the shaft.
