Disclosed embodiments relate to a housing for a fan that is constructed by cutting, bending, and/or folding a single sheet of metal. A disclosed housing is configured to house a fan having a motor that is configured to rotate around an axial direction. The housing includes a first plate that is oriented in a plane that is perpendicular to the axial direction and substantially flat wall regions extending away from the first plate so as to be non-coplanar with the first plate. The housing further includes a second plate having an air intake nozzle, the second plate oriented perpendicularly to the axial direction and thereby oriented parallel to the first plate and located a first distance along the axial direction from the first plate, with the first distance being determined by a length of the wall regions. The wall regions are configured to include air flow openings.

A head-mountable flow generator is configured to deliver a flow of breathable gas at a continuously positive pressure with respect to ambient air pressure to a patient interface in communication with an entrance to a patient's airways including at least an entrance of the patient's nares, while the patient is sleeping, to ameliorate sleep disordered breathing. The flow generator includes a motor, an impeller assembly and housing that encases the motor and the impeller assembly. The housing is configured to be mounted on the patient's head and comprises an inlet to receive the flow of breathable gas and a pair of opposing outlets to deliver the flow of breathable gas. In addition, the impeller assembly is configured to pressurize the flow of breathable gas received from the inlet, and the housing is configured to convey the pressurized flow of breathable gas through both outlets.

The water-conserving liquid ring vacuum pump system receives the output from a water ring vacuum pump, removes the air and contaminants from the water, and returns the clean water to the make-up water port on the pump, thereby saving most of the water that would normally be discarded. Friction in the pump also heats the water, so the system is designed to cool the water as well.

Centrifugal fan noise-lowering structure

A centrifugal fan noise-lowering structure includes a frame having an upper and a lower cover and a sidewall, which together internally define a receiving space communicable with an air inlet and an air outlet of the frame; a stator assembly located in the receiving space and fixedly mounted on the lower cover; and a rotor assembly correspondingly assembled to the stator assembly. The receiving space is internally defined a high pressure zone and a low pressure zone. The upper cover is provided with an airflow passage, which has an inlet located at a position corresponding to the high pressure zone, and an outlet located at a position corresponding to the low pressure zone. With the airflow passage, air in the high pressure zone can be guided to jet out to the low pressure zone to thereby reduce noise produced by the centrifugal fan during its operation.
