Card game
A new trivia-based card game comprising a deck of cards with a plurality of planar playing cards. Each planar playing card has three orthogonal pieces of information on its playing surface: an index, a card value, and a topic. Each planar playing card also has an answer value list and an answer list on its playing surface. The deck of cards may be sorted into unique sub-sets based off of index, card value, or topic. All of the planar playing cards contained in each sub-set sorted by topic share an answer value list and an answer list. A trivia-based card game can be played with such a deck.
Electronic trading card game
A method for competing in game play of an electronic trading card game within a game host between a first player and a second player includes (i) each player receiving an unopened pack of trading cards; (ii) opening the pack of trading cards for each player to reveal individual trading cards for each player only to the respective player; (iii) selecting a plurality of statistical categories that are shown to each player; (iv) each player assigning one of the individual trading cards from their respective pack of trading cards to each statistical category; (v) comparing a relevant statistic included on each of the individual trading cards for each player that has been assigned to each statistical category; and (vi) determining a winner for each statistical category based on which of the individual trading cards assigned to that statistical category has the best relevant statistic.
X-Squared Math Card Game
X-Squared is a unique mathematical card deck and methods for using the deck to play games. This invention fills a large gap in the market for educational games by including physical cards for operands as well as exponents and parentheses. No card game in the public domain contains all of the elements of the Order of Operations (aka PEMDAS). X-Squared does include all of the requisite operators: Parentheses, Exponent, Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction. The card deck has utility for both educational and entertainment purposes. By playing variations of the game as specified, students will gain a richer understanding of mathematical operations. For the general public, the variety of games that may be played (including poker) will bring much enjoyment to those who engage with the X-Squared Card Deck.
CARD GAME
The invention provides an apparatus and method of playing a card game. The apparatus comprises at least one type of card, the card comprising an identification symbol that identifies the card, a resource cost symbol that indicates the resource cost for playing the card, a resource gain symbol that indicates the resource gain from playing the card, and an action symbol that indicate an event arising from playing the card. A player plays a card to accumulate resource equivalent to resource gain symbol of that card, and then may play card(s) having a resource cost symbol, the card having a resource cost less or equal to the accumulated resource.
INFLATION TIMER AND GAME
A game comprising an inflation device, at least one inflatable object to be inflated by the inflation device, the at least one inflatable object associated with at least one indicia, and at least one game card to be associated with the at least one indicia, wherein a player of the game associates the at least one game card with the at least one indicia upon inflation of the at least one inflatable objection. There is also provided an inflation time and a method of playing a game using the inflation timer.
BOARD GAME AND SYSTEM FOR CARBON NEUTRALITY EDUCATION
Proposed is a board game system for carbon neutrality education including: a game display unit including a game board, general cards having carbon cards on which carbon emission quantities are indicated and environment cards on which carbon absorption quantities are indicated, disaster cards on which climate crisis disasters are indicated, convention cards on which rights to change greenhouse gas target amounts are indicated, earth money cards on which scores are indicated, and an indicator for indicating the level of global warming and carbon emission targets; and a game control unit for controlling the game display unit to display the general cards, the disaster cards, the convention cards, the earth money cards, or the indicator on the game board.
MATHEMATICS LEARNING GAME SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Disclosed is a mathematics learning game system for users to improve upon their mathematics skills. Also disclosed is a method of using the system. The system may include cards, each having three color spots of different colors, and a random number in each color spot, a pair of 20-sided dice with the numbers 1 to 20, each side being of one of the colors of the color spots on the cards, and a timer device. A target number and target color are determined by rolling the dice. Players arrange cards to combine numbers of the target color from the cards into a mathematical expression with a solution as close as possible to the target number. Aspects of the present invention may be embodied as a system, method, or computer program product, such as an app that may operate on a computing device or network.
Educational game and method of making same
A game and a method for making it, according to certain disclosed embodiments, may include a playfield for allowing a rollable device for moving along its surface. Playfield guides may direct the rollable device along a path of travel. Three or more target goals on the playfield may receive the rollable device as its final destination. Decision making devices mounted movably on the playfield may adjust manually selectively the path of travel, and each have an entrance structure and two or more exit structures. Decision making device guides direct the rollable device from the entrances to selected ones of the exits. Wherein the rollable device moves along a selected path of travel including user selected entrances and user selected exits of a series of decision making devices to a user selected target goal.
