CONTROLLING WIND TURBINE NOISE
A method controlling a wind turbine to avoid tonal noise production is provided. The method comprises acquiring noise data representing noise produced by a wind turbine and acquiring data from a plurality of vibration sensors positioned at different locations about the wind turbine. The method further comprises identifying a region of interest in the noise data, the region of interest being a candidate for containing tonal noise generated by the wind turbine, and identifying a vibration sensor, the data for which correlates with the noise data in the region of interest. The method further comprises determining a threshold vibration level for the identified vibration sensor, the threshold being based on the vibration level detected by the identified vibration sensor in the region of interest, and adjusting one or more wind turbine operating parameters in response to the vibration level detected by the identified vibration sensor exceeding the threshold.
Operating a wind turbine by reducing an acoustic emission during operation
A method is proposed for operating a wind turbine, including the following steps: deriving at least one turbulence characteristic of atmosphere hitting the wind turbine, determining at least one wind turbine specific parameter based on the at least one derived turbulence characteristic, and operating the wind turbine according to the at least one determined turbine specific parameter is provided. Further, a wind turbine and a device as well as a computer program product and a computer readable medium are also provided.
METHOD FOR MONITORING A WIND TURBINE
A method for monitoring a wind power installation having a nacelle is provided. The method includes recording a sound using at least one acoustic sensor arranged outside and on the nacelle and evaluating the recorded sound to detect an operating state of the wind power installation.

Acoustic noise monitoring system for a wind turbine
The present invention relates to an acoustic noise monitoring system for a wind turbine, comprising: a microphone for monitoring acoustic noise, the microphone adapted to be mounted to the exterior of a wind turbine nacelle; an input, the input adapted to receive operating conditions data from a wind turbine; a processor, the processor adapted to receive data from the microphone and the input; and storage memory, adapted to store the acoustic noise data and the operating conditions data. The processor is adapted to apply a transfer function to said acoustic noise data to correlate said data with a set of acoustic noise data measured at a remote location from the wind turbine. The system may comprise a controller adapted to generate a control signal, for outputting to a wind turbine controller, for adjusting the operating parameters of the wind turbine in dependence on said correlated data.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DIAGNOSING BLADES OF WIND TURBINE
A method for diagnosing blades of a wind turbine is provided. The method includes steps of acquiring, via a microphone, an operation sound of the wind turbine when the wind turbine is under operation; transforming the operation sound into a time-frequency spectrum; integrating the time-frequency spectrum over time to generate a marginal spectrum; determining whether any blade of the wind turbine is damaged according to the marginal spectrum and a reference curve.
