A system and method including card game dispensing shoe includes a scanner that discerns the value and suit of each card dispensed, and includes a CPU and a memory storing data such as rules for dealing cards, data representing player strategy criteria and card inventory data. The CPU, with the scanner data and wagering data can determine player proficiency in regards to player strategies, can determine whether the card inventory is in favor of the player, determine player first card advantage and can, on a floating basis, determine permitted deck penetration. The system and method can be incorporated into games to be broadcast over a communications network such as the Internet.

Systems and methods for assisting game play and wagering are provided. A game assistant system may provide a user with advice on game play or wagering for casino games such as blackjack, roulette, poker, craps, slots, or baccarat. The game assistant may also provide a user with advice on wagering events (e.g., horse racing, etc.) or on other games (e.g., backgammon, chess, etc.). The information provided by the game and wagering assistant during game play or a wagering event may allow a user to minimize losses or the statistical advantage of a casino or game provider. The game and wagering assistant system may also allow a user to allocate a particular amount of money for wagering on games or events, and allow the user to control the rate at which the money is expended.

A gaming apparatus and method are disclosed wherein a gaming surface having distinct betting locations is provided in order to assist in the play of a hybrid version of blackjack and poker games having a side bet. The gaming surface includes a main betting spot for the blackjack game and a separate raised betting platform for the side bet to keep the bets from being comingled. The side bet of the hybrid game is based on whether or not the dealer's hand is a qualifying poker hand. Multipliers and a progressive jackpot are used during the hybrid game to increase the potential winnings.

A method of playing a game that includes as dealer or facilitator. The game consists of allowing players to play a game that comprises at least two sub-games, each sub-game being associated with a pot and being played either simultaneously or sequentially. Each sub-game includes the step of declaring a winning player.

A random number generator for a game of chance capable of selecting at least two numbers which are relevant to an outcome of the game of chance, includes a blower, a first mixing chamber housing a first set of balls bearing indicia in accordance with rules of the game of chance and a second mixing chamber housing a second set of balls bearing indicia in accordance with rules of the game of chance. The first mixing chamber is in communication with a first selector including a first calling chamber. The second mixing chamber is in communication with a second selector including a second calling chamber. A first valve has a closed position and an open position. In the open position of the first valve, the first selected ball is allowed to pass from the first mixing chamber to the first calling chamber. A second valve has a closed position and an open position. In the closed position of the second valve, the second selected ball is allowed to pass from the second mixing chamber to the second calling chamber.

A craps game is disclosed that combines traditional craps wagers with a set of wagers having longer odds, and thus higher payouts, which are determined based upon the matching of a predefined set of numbers a specified number of times with the roll of the dice prior to the occurrence of a terminating event. In one form, the set of numbers is a single number. In a further form, at least one wager includes a specified number which matches the predefined number which makes up a single member set.

A modified method of playing a blackjack style bonus game that includes additional wagering options for players. Various double down options are provided for players to increase their chances of winning and to add excitement to the game. The player and dealer receive two cards with the dealer receiving one face-up card. The player receiving a number between 12 and 17 has a bonus wagering option that the next card will produce a 21. The player having a second bonus option that if the player continues to receive hits he can receive a 21 without busting. The dealer settles the bonus wagers and the traditional game of blackjack continues.

Example methods and devices are set forth for playing a game. In some embodiments, an inventory of game indicia is arranged in a random but established, serial order. In some embodiments, for each hand of play the player makes a wager and game indicia are displayed in order from the inventory to define a winning or losing outcome. In some embodiments, a display, as hands are played, displays the remaining constituency of the inventory and the player, before any game, can order re-shuffling and re-constitute of the inventory. The inspection system for inspecting the gaming currency, in which an RF tag is built, comprises: a gaming currency tray for housing the gaming currencies of the dealer in a casino game; an RF reader for reading the RF tags of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray; plural photosensors for detecting at least the number of the plural gaming currencies housed in the gaming currency tray at a constant time interval or always in a method other than RFID; and an inspection/alarm part for generating alarms when the number of the gaming currencies whose RF tags are read by the RF reader is not equal to the number of the gaming currencies detected by the plural photosensors.
