Three-dimensional tic-tac-toe
An illuminated, three-dimensional tic-tac-toe game device is provided and includes a game board having nine posts arranged in a square. Each post includes three levels of play and a first switch and a second switch at each level. First and second game pieces are provided for use as X's and O's in the game. Each game piece includes translucent sides, a translucent top and an opaque bottom. First contacts are provided on each first game piece and are engageable with the first switches and second contacts are provided on each second game piece and are engageable with the second switches. An electronic circuit is provided for each possible combination of three of the same game pieces in a row either horizontally, vertically, transversely or diagonally. Lights are provided at each level within each post, either within each level of each post or inside a game piece arranged at the level. The electronic circuit activates the lights to illuminate through the translucent game pieces when one player establishes three of his game pieces in a row.
Game with user configurable board and method
A game kit having a game board assembled from a plurality of individual tiles is provided. The tiles each have a collapsed position and open to reveal a three-dimensional depiction of an object or location. The tiles are configurable for a plurality of different games by changing game indicia thereon. Players visit the different locations on the assembled game board and look for clues to accomplish tasks toward ending the game by accomplishing one final goal. A storyteller may serve as the director of game play for the players
Game tile system
A tile game system is provided that includes a plurality of two-dimensional and three-dimensional components. The two-dimensional components can include a plurality of modular tiles provided in various sizes and configurations that can be joined together to form a grid-based gameplay area. The three-dimensional components can include external boundaries for the gameplay area, internal boundaries, terrain elements such as columns and staircases, and game figures. According to aspects of the present disclosure, the external and internal boundaries can be provided with recessed sections that allow a game figure to be contained within a single grid square and prevent the grid of the gameplay area from becoming warped. According to some aspects of the present disclosure the internal and external boundaries can be illuminated and provided with removable and interchangeable light-permeable skins that allow a user to switch between various illuminated designs.

At least two sets of playing pieces are distinguishable from each other and assigned to players of the game. Each piece can be placed and rest upon any of the one-hundred placement areas. A scorekeeping system keeps score by tracking points of the players. The game is completed when a player is first to accumulate a predetermined total number of points. The players take turns between/among themselves. Each player scores a first predetermined number of points by placing four pieces on four open vertically aligned placement areas of four levels, four pieces on four open diagonally aligned placement areas of four levels, or four pieces on four open horizontally aligned placement areas of any level.

A convertible tiered game system comprising a plurality of tiered platforms, each tiered platform having at least one of a width and a length that is greater than any higher tiered platform, a plurality of tiered overlays configured to be seated upon each tiered platform among the plurality of tiered platforms, at least three of the tiered overlays comprising a center opening and having at least one of a width and a length that is greater than any higher tiered overlay, and a plurality of beverage container placement markers located on at least one of a tiered platform and a tiered overlay. The tiered overlays may comprise a lip extending downward along a vertical side wall of a tiered platform on which the tiered overlay is seated.
