Disclosed is an improved mounting and securing device. The device provides for attachment at least one elongate object to a surface and includes a diaphragm spring and an oval fir tree mount. The device is secured to and prevents rotation in an oval or slot shaped hole in a mounting surface. The oval fir tree mount has a tapered tip and a substantially oval shape. Fir tree branches are attached to an oval shaped trunk at various elevations or staggered heights. The diaphragm spring includes a flexible umbrella extending toward the fir tree branches. The diaphragm spring provides tension and resistance when the fir tree mount is inserted into a mount hole formed in a supporting surface such as a panel. The flexible spring combined with the staggered height branches allow the device to be securely retained in different mounting hole thicknesses. The substantially oval configuration prevents rotation.

Magnetic bracket and method

A magnetic bracket includes a base and at least two posts at opposite ends of the base. The posts bend upwards from the base such that at least two clips are operable to attach at the posts at opposite ends of the base. The posts have a notch between the base and ends of the posts to permit the clips to hook onto the posts. The magnetic bracket may be clipped into a vehicle chassis by removably inserting the clips into a slot of the vehicle chassis. A body panel such as a headliner having a magnetic fastener attached to the body panel may then be magnetically self-aligned and removably attached to the base having a magnetic portion. The magnetic fastener is operable to be removably attached to the magnetic portion. The magnetic bracket is attached to a non-magnetic part of a vehicle chassis.

Provided is a clip to be attached to a vehicle body panel having panel surfaces that intersect each other, while separately holding different wire groups in a state of being near each other. The clip disclosed in the present specification includes a first wire holding portion for holding a first wire group; a second wire holding portion for holding a second wire group; a vehicle body attachment portion to be attached to the vehicle body; and a coupling portion for coupling the first wire holding portion and the second wire holding portion. The coupling portion includes a first coupling portion that is continuous with the first wire holding portion and a second coupling portion that is continuous with the second wire holding portion. The first coupling portion and the second coupling portion intersect each other.

Furniture System

A furniture system has a longitudinally extending member (2), a component (4) comprising a mounting member (10) and a component mounting system for mounting the component (4) on the longitudinally extending member (2). The component mounting system includes a support member (7), a clamp member (11) and a fixing member (12). In use, the support member (7) is adapted to be located between the component (4) and the longitudinally extending member (2). The fixing member (12) extends through the clamp member (11) and the support member (7) to engage with the component mounting member (10). Engaging the fixing member (12) with the component mounting member (10) causes the clamp member (11) to engage with an engagement formation (24) on the longitudinally extending member (2) to clamp the support member (7) between the longitudinally extending member (2) and the component (4) to mount the component (4) on the longitudinally extending member (2).
