Elastomeric component and apparatus and method for assembly thereof
An elastomeric component includes a body feature and a retaining feature coupled to the body feature. The retaining feature includes an insertion end portion, and a retention end portion spaced apart from the insertion end portion along a longitudinal axis. The insertion end portion defines a catch spaced apart from the retention end portion and having a contact location adapted to make first contact with an edge of a retaining hole. The contact location is spaced apart from the catch a first distance. The retaining feature has a blind pocket extending from the retention end portion interiorly of the retaining feature along the longitudinal axis. The blind pocket terminates at an end location spaced from the catch. The elastomeric component may be coupled to a wall defining the retaining hole. Methods of assembly, and an apparatus for installation, are also provided.
REMOVABLE PROTECTION MEMBER FOR BRACKETS SUPPORTING AIR-CONDITIONING UNITS
A removable protection member for brackets configured to support air conditioning units, wherein the support bracket includes at least two substantially L-shaped supports suited to be secured to a bearing wall and at least one cross member suited to be secured to the bearing wall and to connect the supports, said protection member including at least one pair of first covering members intended to cover the supports, each first covering member being substantially L-shaped; at least one second covering member suited to cover a corresponding cross member; quick connection members associated with the pair of first covering members and with the covering member, the quick connection members being suited to make it easier to maintain the pair of first covering members removably attached to the respective supports and the second covering member removably attached to the corresponding cross member through interference.
WINDSHIELD WIPER CONNECTOR AND ASSEMBLY
Embodiments of a windshield wiper assembly may include a support structure, a wiper blade connector assembly for connecting the support structure with a wiper arm of a vehicle, a wiper blade cover fittable over the wiper blade connector assembly, and a wiper blade strip secured to the underside of the support structure. The connector assembly may include a wiper blade connector, a wiper blade connector cover connected to the wiper blade connector and pivotable between an open position and a closed position, and a wiper blade connector adapter securable between the wiper blade connector and the wiper blade connector cover. The various embodiments of a wiper blade connector assembly permit the embodiments of the wiper blade assembly to be connected with a plurality of wiper arm types.
COVER FOR A VEHICLE
A cover for covering at least partially a vehicle. The vehicle includes a straddle seat and a footrest extending along a lateral side of the vehicle. The cover includes a cover body and a clip connected to the cover body. The clip is configured to be connected to the footrest of the vehicle. The clip includes: a clip body fastened to the cover body; an upper connector extending from an inner side of the clip body and configured to engage an upper side of the footrest so as to restrict forward movement of the clip relative to the footrest; and a lower connector extending from an inner side of the clip body and configured to engage a lower side of the footrest. The clip is configured such that, when the clip is connected to the footrest, an edge portion of the footrest is located between the upper and lower connectors.
Trim panel assembly
A trim panel assembly includes a trim panel configured to be removably connected to a pillar of a vehicle body structure. A connecting member includes a first part connected to the trim panel and a second part configured to be connected to the pillar. The first part is configured to be separable from the second part. A fastening member is connected between the first and second parts of the connecting member to limit a separation distance of the trim panel when the first part separates from the second part.
FURNITURE HAVING DETACHABLE DECORATIVE TRIM PIECES
Decorative trim pieces having a variety of different shapes and colors and being configured to be removably attached to an exterior face of an article of furniture (e.g., a bookcase) so that the trim pieces can be detached from the furniture and replaced by different trim pieces by which to change the ornamental appearance of the furniture when necessary. Each trim piece has a set of plugs extending therefrom to be removably received by respective plug holes formed in the exterior face of the furniture, whereby to hold the trim piece in place. The decorative trim pieces and the plugs extending therefrom are preferably manufactured from a resilient cushion material that is adapted to be compressed and absorb impact forces in response to an individual inadvertently bumping into the article of furniture at the trim pieces that are removably attached thereto.
RESILIENT COVER CLIP
A resilient clip can be used for covers for equipment. The resilient clip has a portion that can be inserted into a channel on the equipment, a portion that can be attached to a cover, and a portion that can be used to remove the clip from the channel.
Pin And Grommet Fastener Accommodating Two Directional Offset And Related Methods
An inner housing defines a pin retaining receptacle elongated in an X-direction with entry ramps extending parallel to the X-direction. The inner housing is slidably coupled to an outer housing and extends into an interior thereof. Centering protrusions of one housing can engage the other housing to initially retain the pin retaining receptacle of the inner housing in a central position within the interior of the outer housing in the Y-direction prior to insertion of the pin into the pin retaining receptacle. The other housing can be movable against the centering protrusion to permit the pin retaining receptacle of the inner housing to move out of the central position in the Y-direction in response to engagement of the pin against the entry ramps during insertion of the pin into the pin retaining receptacle.
The pair of inner housing retaining surfaces can engage the pair of cooperating inner housing retaining surfaces, with the pin retaining receptacle of the inner housing extending into the interior of the outer housing, to slidably couple the inner housing and the outer housing together while permitting movement of the inner housing relative to the outer housing in a Y-direction in response to the inner housing moving in the Y-direction during insertion of the pin into the pin retaining receptacle. Associated methods are also disclosed.
Self-locking front panel
A self-locking front panel is provided that includes a base plate and first and second retaining members. The first retaining member extends from a back side of the base plate and terminates in a first retaining portion. The first retaining portion has a first rounded portion that bulges out in a direction of a first end edge of the base plate. The second retaining member also extends from the back side of the base plate a select distance from the first retaining member. The second retaining member terminates in a second retaining portion. The second retaining portion has a second rounded portion that bulges out in a direction of a second end edge of the base plate.
