The joint includes a first and a second series of ribs made on the first and second tie rod parts, respectively. The first series of ribs is capable of engaging with the second series of ribs to define a relative longitudinal position of the first and second tie rod parts. The joint further includes a clip hinged to the first tie rod part and carrying the first series of ribs, the clip being foldable to snap onto the first tie rod part to lock an end of the second tie rod part within a seat of the first tie rod part.
Anti-Pinch Cover
A telescopic hot stick or pole for manipulating a tool from a position a selected distance away from a workpiece wherein the hot stick includes a tubular first section having a female end and a predetermined non-circular cross-sectional shape. A second section has a male end slidably engaged within the first tubular section and a predetermined non-circular cross-sectional shape conforming in a close-fit relation to the shape of the first section to prevent significant relative rotation of the second section therein. A locking assembly maintains the second section in an extended position where locking is accomplished in response to a sliding of the second section to the extended position and may be disengaged to permit ready removal of the second section from the first section.
TELESCOPIC TUBE ASSEMBLY
A telescopic tube assembly includes a first tube and a second tube penetrated in the first tube. A handle is pivoted to a base sleeved on the first tube and pressed against the second tube when the handle is locked. Further, a pin is provided between the base and a cover mounted to the base, and a button is horizontally disposed in the base. When the button is pressed, the pin is pushed by the button to be disengaged from the second tube, such that the length of the second tube can be adjusted. When the button is released, the pin is pushed by an elastic member to be engaged with the second tube for locking the second tube in a desired length. By means of the dual lock design, the telescopic tube assembly of the present invention provides good positioning effect to reduce operational risk.
TELESCOPIC SYSTEM
A telescopic system comprising at least two profiled rails which are guided linearly on one another in the longitudinal direction, are movable relative to one another over a distance and each have a longitudinal profile with longitudinal grooves and/or longitudinal ribs wherein at least one sliding element is provided on each profiled rail, via which sliding element the at least two profiled rails bear against one another in a slidable manner, and which sliding element is arranged so as to be fastened in an axially non-displaceable manner, at least with respect to the longitudinal direction, on the longitudinal profile of the associated profiled rail. Such a telescopic system is intended to be simpler in design and able to be mounted more easily. This is achieved in that the sliding element, at least with respect to a sliding plane defined by the longitudinal direction and a first transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, is then connected to a clamping element so as to be fixed against displacement on the profiled rail, wherein the clamping element is arranged with a clamping fit on the longitudinal profile of the profiled rail, to be precise in or on a longitudinal groove and/or on a longitudinal rib.
PNEUMATIC TELESCOPIC COLUMN ASSEMBLY
A pneumatic telescopic column assembly for supporting and moving military equipment, communication equipment, lighting equipment and/or surveillance equipment is provided. The pneumatic telescopic column assembly extends along an axis and has a plurality of tube groups telescopically configurable between a compact configuration and an extended configuration. The plurality of tube groups has a base tube group, an intermediate tube group and a head tube group. The base tube group has a base tube element and a base locking ring that has at least one horizontal latch, at least one actuator and at least one vertical latch. The intermediate tube group has an intermediate tubular element and an intermediate locking ring that has at least one horizontal intermediate latch. The tubular head group has a tubular head element.
LOCKING MECHANISM FOR MODULAR COMPONENTS
The present invention provides an improved locking mechanism for securely connecting modular or detachable components. The locking mechanism includes a male and female portion associated with, respectively, a first and second modular component, the male portion having a slit defining a first and second finger, the locking mechanism having a spreading means provided by a pressure bolt mechanism including a pressure bolt, wherein the pressure bolt is configured to, when turned by up to substantially 1 revolution, move the first and second fingers from a closed position wherein the first and second fingers are substantially parallel to one another, to a spread position wherein the first and second fingers abut an interior surface of the female portion, thereby connecting the first and second modular component.
Hydraulic lift and walking system for catwalk machine
A locking device includes an outer portion and an inner portion. The outer portion has a bore formed at least partially axially therethrough and a channel formed laterally therethrough. The inner portion is positioned at least partially within the bore. A first link is positioned at least partially outside of the outer portion and coupled to the inner portion through the channel. A second link is coupled to the outer portion. A pin is coupled to the first link and the second link. The locking device is in an unlocked state when the inner portion is fully positioned within the bore, and the locking device is in a locked state when an end of the inner portion extends axially out of the bore.
Tie rod assembly union
The tie rod assembly union includes a tube sleeve and a tie rod shaft that extends into the tube sleeve such that the tie rod shaft and the tube sleeve overlap with one another. In the overlapping area, each of the tie rod shaft and the tube sleeve has at least one set of openings. A C-shaped clamp is disposed about the tube sleeve. The clamp has a curved inner surface which engages both tube sleeve halves. The clamp has a first set of apertures which are spaced outwardly from the curved inner surface and a second set of apertures which extend to the curved inner surface. A first fastener extends through the first set of apertures to tighten the clamp onto the tube sleeve. A second fastener extends through the second set of apertures and through aligned openings in the tie rod shaft and tube sleeve.
Connector system for an aircraft, and aircraft
A connector system for an aircraft, for connecting a hose line, includes a skin panel which has a clearance which extends between an external face and an internal face, a primary part which on the clearance is disposed on an internal side of the skin panel that is defined by the internal face, a cover mounted on the primary part and movable between a closing position in which the cover covers the clearance of the skin panel, and an opening position in which the cover releases the clearance of the skin panel, and a tubular connector port mounted on the primary part and movable between a storage position in which the connector port is disposed on the internal side of the skin panel, and a use position in which the connector port projects beyond the external face of the skin panel.
