METHOD AND DEVICE FOR CENTERING AND TEMPORARY FIXATION OF TUBE PARTS
Method and device for centering and temporary fixation of tube parts (1, 5) in relation to each other's interior surfaces. A first tool (9) is centered relative to a tube part interior surface (2, 6) by a radially adjustable centering mechanism (13). The centering mechanism (13) is insertable in the tube part (1, 5). A second tool (10) is centered relative to the first tool (9), by a guiding mechanism (15) which cooperates for centering of the tools (9, 10) relative to one another. The second tool comprises fixing mechanism (17) to fix the exterior surface of the tube part (1, 5) to the second tool (10), and at least one third guide (18) which centers two such second tools (10) relative to one another in their mounted position on respective tube part end (4, 8) and at least one coupling member (19) to connect the two second tools (10).
COUPLING ASSEMBLY FOR A POWER END AND A FLUID END OF A PUMP
A mounting assembly mounts a fluid end unit to a power end unit and includes first and second end members, and a coupling. A first end of the first end member is a threaded shaft configured to be received in a mounting aperture of a power end unit. A first end of the second end member is a threaded shaft configured to be received in a mounting aperture of a fluid end unit corresponding to the mounting aperture of the power end unit. The coupling couples and extends the first end member and the second end member and may be removed therefrom without changing a relative position of the second end member to the first end member.
ROD PIECE CONNECTION DEVICE, AND BICYCLE FRAME AND TANDEM BICYCLE FRAME HAVING THE SAME
A rod piece connection device, comprising: a first connection piece and a second connection piece. The first connection piece includes a first rod piece connection end and a first joggle joint end opposite to the first rod piece connection end. Wherein, the first joggle joint end includes a protrusion head tongue portion and a neck portion. The second connection piece includes a second rod piece connection end and a second joggle joint end opposite to the second rod piece connection end. The second joggle joint end is located corresponding to the first joggle joint end for them to form into a joggle joint. The second joggle joint end includes a protrusion bottom groove portion and a pillow portion. Wherein the protrusion head tongue portion is disposed corresponding into the protrusion bottom groove portion, and the neck portion is located corresponding to the pillow portion.
Telescoping Adjustable Leg
The telescoping adjustable leg comprises a tubular housing, a tubular toe, a cylindrical toe, a base and an externally threaded rod. The adjustable leg 10 is expandable from a fully retracted position to a fully extended position by rotation of the housing and cylindrical toe relative to the tubular toe.
Device for Making Plumbing Connections and a Method of Use Thereof
A device for making plumbing connections is provided. The device includes a first compression nut, a second compression nut, a sleeve fitting body between the first compression nut and the second compression nut, a first ferrule between the first compression nut and the sleeve fitting body, and a second ferrule between the sleeve fitting body and the second compression nut. The first compression nut has a first narrow portion and a first threaded portion, the first narrow portion having a first internal cavity with a first diameter. The second compression nut has a second narrow portion and a second threaded portion, the second narrow portion having a second internal cavity with a second diameter. The sleeve fitting body has a threaded portion that respectively correspond to the first and second threaded portions, and a first cavity portion having the first diameter, and a second cavity portion having the second diameter.
CONNECTORS AND METHODS OF FABRICATING THE SAME
A connector for coupling a first column segment having a first inner surface and a first end surface to a second column segment having a second inner surface and a second end surface such that the end surfaces are adjacent one another is provided. The connector includes a plurality of fasteners and a plurality of plates each having a front face, a rear face, and a plurality of fastener apertures extending from the front face toward the rear face. Each of the fastener apertures is sized to receive one of the fasteners when coupling the first column segment to the second column segment such that the plates are spaced apart from one another. Each of the front faces is contoured to seat flush against the first inner surface and the second inner surface when the plates span the adjacent end surfaces of the coupled-together column segments.
CONNECTORS AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLING THE SAME
A connector is provided. The connector includes a flange defining an opening. The connector also includes an insert having a plurality of plates. Each of the plates extends through the opening of the flange. The connector further includes an actuator coupling the insert to the flange. The plurality of plates are movable relative to the flange by operating the actuator.
Coupler for threaded reinforcing bar
A coupler for mounting to externally threaded reinforcing bar for use in concrete construction, the comprising a body having a portion with an internal thread for engagement with the thread of the reinforcing bar, wherein the thread form at the inner end portion of the internal thread includes on one of its flanks an enlargement of progressively increasing extension, the enlargement extending towards an opposing flank of the thread to provide an increasing friction fit with the thread of the bar. Various embodiments provide the enlargement being only on a part of the face of the flank whereby the remainder of the face of the flank forms, in conjunction with the adjacent flank of the bar thread during tightening, a void for receiving material displaced during tightening.
Linear actuator and method for producing a linear actuator
A linear actuator comprising a spindle-based linear drive (1) having an inner threaded spindle (5) and an outer element (2) surrounding the threaded spindle (5), in which the threaded spindle (5) can be moved in the axial direction; and a telescopic housing (20) with a first telescope part (21) and a second telescope part (22), which is surrounded at least in part by the first telescope part (21). On its side facing the first telescope part (21), the second telescope part (22) has an adapter part (24) that is connected rotationally fixedly to the second telescope part (22) and has a central opening.
