COMPOSITE ELEMENT FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND CIVIL ENGINEERING, AND USE OF A FASTENING ELEMENT DESIGNED AS A CLAMPING ELEMENT
The invention relates to a composite element (10) for use in construction, in particular building construction or civil engineering, which composite element comprises at least two components and at least one fastening element (11) for connecting the components. A first component has at least one assembly pin (13), which is cylindrical in particular. The fastening element (11) is configured as a clamping element such that it can be force-fittingly connected to the assembly pin (13). The invention further relates to a use of a fastening element (11) configured as a clamping element.
Mounting clamp device
A clamp device (100) for mounting equipment to a support structure (200) including a base (105) and a slider (110). The base (105) includes a first trough (155) formed in the front side (140) of the base (105) and a second trough (160) formed in the back side (145) of the base (105) and a first coupling element located on the first lateral side (130) and a second coupling element located on the second lateral side (135) of the base (105). Each of the first and second coupling elements extend from near the top end (120) of the base (105) towards the bottom end (125) of the base (105) at an angle relative to the first trough (155). The slider (110) includes a channel (185) on a back side (145) of the slider (110) and corresponding coupling elements within the channel (185) configured to slidingly engage the first and second coupling elements upon association of the slider (110) with the base (105).
ATTACHMENT AND CONNECTING STRUCTURE FOR VEHICLE COMPONENT
An attachment is configured to connect a first connecting plate of a vehicle component to a second connecting plate of a vehicle body. The attachment includes a body, first, second and third flanges, and a press-fit insert. The attachment is of an elastically deformable material and is configured to be inserted into first and second through holes of the first and second connecting plates. The flanges engage the connecting plates when the attachment is inserted into the through holes. The body includes a hole extending longitudinally within the body to accommodate the press-fit insert. The press-fit insert has a diameter greater than the diameter of the hole to form a snug connection between the press-fit insert and the hole. The insertion of the press-fit insert into the hole elastically deforms the attachment to urge the body radially against the connecting plates to provide a robust connection between the connecting plates.
ALIGNMENT OF FRAME MEMBERS IN WELDED ASSEMBLIES
A system for improving alignment in welded assemblies is provided. The system includes a support member having a surface and a projection extending from the surface. The projection may include one of a convex or a concave geometry. The system includes a positioning member provided over the support member for receiving a frame member. The positioning member may be movable over the support member, and the positioning member may include a geometry configured to engage the one of the convex or the concave geometry. The frame member may be movable from a first position relative to a center of the projection to a second position relative to the center of the projection during movement of the positioning member over the support member.
ANCHOR PLATFORM ASSEMBLY
An anchor platform assembly for anchoring an object to a raised, generally flat roof-like structure, has an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface, and an internally threaded blindbore extending at least partially from the top surface generally towards the bottom surface and fasteners for fastening an object to the anchor baseplate via its blindbore, and for fastening the anchor baseplate to a top surface of a roof-like structure. The assembly is especially intended for supporting, e.g., glass railings on balconies, terraces and flat roofs and for mounted solar panels on both flat and pitched roofs which provides strength and affords watertight performance.
SUN VISOR CONNECTOR
A sun visor connector includes: a bracket; an arm portion having an end inserted through the bracket to be rotatably arranged; a housing fixed to the bracket and arranged in a vicinity of the end of the arm portion inserted through the bracket; a pair of connector terminals accommodated in the housing and connected to counterpart terminals; a pair of arm connection parts provided in an elastically deformable manner on the pair of connector terminals and connected by sandwiching the end of the arm portion by a biasing force; and a preliminary displacement portion provided in the housing, abutting on the pair of arm connection parts, and causing the pair of arm connection parts to be arranged in a separated manner by keeping a biasing force against the end of the arm portion.
Securing device for table or other surface
Described herein are securing devices configured to hold one object to another. In some embodiments the securing devices are specifically configured to connect an umbrella to a table. The securing devices can comprise a base component configured to receive a first object and one or more support components configured to connect the base component, and thus the first object, to a second object.
Combined anchor and fastener assembly especially intended for concrete structures and method employing same
A combined anchor and fastener that includes an anchor baseplate having a top surface and a bottom surface and at least one throughbore extending from the top surface to the bottom surface thereof. An elongated post is coupled to the anchor baseplate having a first end and a second end and an at least partially threaded, internal cylindrical bore for receipt therein of a mechanical fastener. The bore extends from the first end of the post towards the second end thereof with said post internal bore being in alignment and registry with the anchor baseplate throughbore. The post has a second end portion depending from said bottom surface of said anchor baseplate. The bottom surface of the anchor baseplate is configured to allow at least a portion of the concrete structure to abut and lie generally flush thereagainst except for the area of said bottom surface thereof which is covered by the post. An anchor is provided for anchoring the anchor baseplate to a concrete structure. A method of anchoring and fastening an object to a concrete structure is also disclosed.
