Locking pin, electronics module and production method
Techniques are disclosed relating to a locking pin used to secure components in an electronics module. For example, in some embodiments an electronics module includes a housing lower part that includes a lower receiving element and a housing upper part that includes an upper receiving element that is aligned with the lower receiving element. In various embodiments, a locking pin may be used to connect a circuit board in the electronics module. For example, in some embodiments the circuit board includes at least one lead-through opening and the circuit board is connected to the housing lower part via the locking pin that is inserted in a positive-locking manner through the lead-through opening into the lower receiving element. Further, in some embodiments, an upper pin section of the locking pin may be inserted into an upper receiving element of the housing upper part in a positive-locking manner.
Plug for upper coupler of trailer
A plug for insertion into a through hole of a king pin coupler plate of a trailer includes a body defining two opposite axial directions and having a cylindrical, circular and continuous outer surface defining a perimeter. A plurality of pliable ears extend from the outer surface. The ears are each individually aligned in the axial directions. The ears each have a width that is less than ten percent of a distance around the perimeter of the outer surface of the body.
Locking push pin and heatsink assembly
A locking push pin and methods of using the locking push pin to assemble a heatsink assembly, are described. The locking push pin includes a body lumen extending through a pin body, and several prongs radially outward from the body lumen. Peripheral surfaces of the prongs are separated by a body slot radially outward from the body lumen. The locking push pin includes a pin lock having a branch that extends through the body lumen and into the body slot between the peripheral surfaces. The pin lock advances from an unlocked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot proximal to a distal end of the prongs, allowing the prongs to deflect radially inward, to a locked configuration in which the branch is in the body slot at the distal end of the prongs, blocking deflection of the prongs. Other embodiments are also described and claimed.
Profile System for Intersecting Joints
A profile system includes a series of elongate profiles (1) and one or more intermediate and/or end elements (8; 28). A series of connecting pins (14) each are a separate part having two end portions (15, 16) and being designed to releasably connect a profile (1) on the face side with an intermediate and/or with an end element (8; 28). The profile cross sections form on their face side receiving openings (5) for receiving the first end portion (15) of a connecting pin (14). The intermediate and/or end elements (8; 28) comprise receiving holes (13) for receiving the second end portion (16) of a connecting pin (14). The receiving openings (13) of the intermediate and/or end elements (8; 28) each extend through a wall into a cavity of the intermediate and/or end element (8; 28).
DOWEL PIN FOR EASY ASSEMBY AND HIGH ACCURACY
A dowel pin (1) according to a first aspect with a cylindrical body (4). The cylindrical body (4) is divided into first and second parts (2,3). The first part (2) is movably connected to the second part (3) allowing only relative transverse movement between the first and second parts (2,3). According to a second aspect, the dowel pin (1) comprises a cylindrical circumferential surface (5) and first and second longitudinal ends. The circumferential surface (5) comprises a first plurality of primary radially lifted contact areas (33) at a first distance D1 from the first longitudinal end and a second distance D2 from the second longitudinal end, with D1 being less than D2, and a second plurality of secondary lifted contact areas (35,36) at a third distance D3 from the first longitudinal end and a fourth distance D4 from the second longitudinal end, D3 being larger than D4.
Light fixture assembly and releasable fastener therefor
The present invention is directed to a light fixture assembly and a releasable fastener for use with a light fixture assembly. The light fixture assembly includes: a first light fixture component; a second light fixture component that includes an engagement surface and an aperture; and a releasable fastener configured to extend through the aperture and engage the engagement surface when in the locked position to releasably secure the first and second light fixture components together.
ASSEMBLIES FOR MATING A RETENTION CLIP TO A BUMPER COVER AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Embodiments described herein generally relate to an assembly for mating a retention clip to a bumper cover. The assembly includes a mating hole adapter including a body having a through hole of a first inner diameter. The assembly further includes a bumper cover including a through hole of a second inner diameter, where the first inner diameter of the through hole of the mating hole adapter is less than the second inner diameter of the through hole of the bumper cover. The assembly further includes a retention clip including a fastener having an outer diameter that is substantially equal to the first inner diameter, where the retention clip is mated with the bumper cover by the through hole of the mating hole adapter.
Plug for upper coupler of trailer
A plug for insertion into a through hole of a king pin coupler plate of a trailer includes a body defining an axial direction and having an outer surface defining a perimeter with a distance around the perimeter. A plurality of pliable ears extend from the outer surface. The ears are each individually aligned in the axial direction. The ears each have a width that is less than ten percent of the distance around the perimeter of the outer surface of the body.
Fastening clip
To fasten a first component to a second component, a fastening clip has an integral, elongated structure with a first and a second fastening end. The first fastening end comprises an at least one-armed independent latching structure. The second fastening end is formed by a resilient clamp. The first and second latching structure act on an intermediate support structure. To connect the two components, the latching structure is latched in a component opening in a first component, and the second component is fastened between the support structure and a spring loop of the resilient clamp with the assistance of a cutout or a slot that is open on one side.
