A method for conducting a lottery game is described. A number of ticket drawings are distributed from a first drawing to an N.sup.th drawing at predetermined intervals prior to an event. An entry from the ticket pool is randomly drawn as the first drawing, and a first prize is awarded to the participant to whom the first drawn ticket belongs. An entry is randomly drawn from the ticket pool as the N.sup.th drawing, wherein the N.sup.th drawing corresponds to a certain event; and an N.sup.th prize is awarded to the participant to whom the N.sup.th drawn ticket belongs. Tickets remain in the ticket pool from the first drawing to the N.sup.th drawing.

A system and method of combining a lottery game and a table game includes a plurality of table games each including a plurality of player positions. A plurality of interface assemblies is provided and each has one of the interface assemblies. Each of the interface assemblies is programmed to receive one or more betting units from each of the plurality of player positions and associating the betting units with each player position submitting the betting units. A database is in communication with each of the interface assemblies. The database is programmed to tally the betting units and form a pool of the betting units. The database is programmed to randomly select one of the betting units to define a winning bet and communicating the winning bet and the pool to at least the interface assembly positioned on the table game associated with the player position having the winning bet.

Play of the bonus game requires play of the first primary game but not the second primary game.

Method and system for conducting and linking a televised game show with play of a lottery game

A lottery game is linked to a televised game show having a plurality of mini-games followed by a final bonus game. An audience is defined for the game show composed of members from a plurality of different lottery jurisdictions, and audience members are selected for play of a plurality of mini-games conducted during taping of the game show. The broadcast intended for transmission to any lottery jurisdiction that does not have a winner of an actual mini-game in the original taped version is modified by inserting into the broadcast one of the substitute mini-games having a winner from the respective lottery jurisdiction.

A system and method are provided for conducting a primary lottery game in conjunction with a televised game show and a play-at-home version of the show. In the primary lottery game, players purchase lottery tickets, with each ticket having a unique web code. Players of the primary lottery game become eligible to be a contestant in the show by accumulating a predefined set of game symbols in the lottery game. During broadcast of the game show, a plurality of game symbol codes are provided to at-home viewers of the show who are also players of the primary lottery game. The at-home viewers are able to access a website, enter the web code from their lottery ticket, enter one the game symbol codes broadcast with the game show, and play a web-based game to win a game symbol associated with the entered game symbol code.
