STUD ASSEMBLY
A stud assembly is coupled between an underhood propulsion system and an underhood cover in order to manage energy from an external force applied to the underhood cover. The underhood cover is coupled over the underhood propulsion system. The stud assembly is coupled between the underhood propulsion system and the underhood cover and includes a polymeric isolator and a stud coupled to the polymeric isolator. The stud includes a shank and a head coupled to the shank. The head is coupled to the polymeric isolator. The stud assembly includes a boss coupled to the underhood cover. The boss is disposed adjacent the polymeric isolator. The shank includes a bending initiator feature in order to allow the shank to bend when the underhood cover is subjected to an external force.
FASTENER AND HOUSING DEVICE INCLUDING THE FASTENER
A fastener is adapted for assembling a first housing to a second housing. The first housing is provided with a protruding portion and a buckling portion, and the second housing has a first surface, a second surface, and a through hole. The fastener includes a first portion, at least one connecting portion, at least two elastic portions, and a second portion. The first portion movably abuts against the first surface and has a first opening. The connecting portion is accommodated in the through hole. One end of the connecting portion is connected to the first portion. The connecting portion is spaced apart from an inner edge of the second housing by a gap. The two elastic portions inclinedly extend into the first opening. The second portion movably abuts against the second surface and is disposed at the another end of the connecting portion.
APPARATUS FOR ASSEMBLING SCREWS
An apparatus for assembling screws, the apparatus includes a rack and a holder. The holder is arranged on the rack. The holder includes a convex and an opening. The opening is communicated with the convex, the screw is capable of moving in the opening and latched to and fasten to the convex.

Fastener with a Belleville head
The present invention relates to headed push-in fasteners of the type produced by Penn Engineering & Manufacturing Corp. known as TackPins and TackScrews. More specifically it relates to a Tack Pin or a Tack Screw with a Belleville head that provides the functionality of a Bellville washer without needing a separate part. When installed, the compression of the Bellville shaped head will cause a permanent loading to be applied under the head of the fastener, essentially creating a clamping force to the members being attached.

Antitheft nut
An antitheft nut may include a virtual reference line extending in a circumferential direction on a basis of a center with respect to one surface of a nut body, a plurality of key assembling portions continuously protruding or depressed along the virtual reference line, and an assembling line having the plurality of key assembling portions repeatedly formed while being spaced apart from each other in an inside direction and an outside direction of the virtual reference line.
TOILET FASTENING ASSEMBLY AND METHOD
A toilet fastening assembly includes a fastener, a washer, and a cap. The fastener includes a base at a proximal end, a support extending from the base, and a threaded shaft extending from the support to a distal end. The base includes two flat surfaces interconnecting two curved surfaces. The support includes two flat surfaces interconnecting two tapered surfaces. The support's flat surfaces are aligned with the base's flat surfaces. The threaded shaft includes two distal tapered surfaces that are positioned perpendicular to the base's flat surfaces and the support's flat surfaces. The cap includes an outer wall defining an inner cavity and an inner cylindrical wall disposed within the inner cavity. The inner cylindrical wall's threaded inner surface receives the threaded shaft of the fastener. The inner cylindrical wall's proximal end is recessed relative to the outer wall's proximal end.
Apparatus for transmitting torque via a weld
A torque converter in a vehicle includes a cover for the torque converter, wherein the cover includes a front surface and a back surface and a stud including a head and an end with a shaft therebetween passing through an opening of a flex plate, wherein the head includes a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface include an annular projection penetrating the front surface of the cover and the bottom surface is adjacent the shaft.
