FASTENING APPARATUS FOR FASTENING A FURNISHING COMPONENT TO AN ATTACHMENT STRUCTURE OF AN AIRCRAFT CABIN
An apparatus for fastening a component to an aircraft cabin attachment structure, the attachment structure having a fastening tube with a longitudinal axis. The apparatus has an internally bored sleeve rotatably positionable on the fastening tube and an external thread. A holding body connects to the component and has two spaced-apart limbs and a bearing surface enclosed by the limbs, and on which, an internal thread configured to the sleeve external thread, is arranged. A device fixes the holding body to the threaded sleeve and the fastening tube, the external and internal threads being non-self-locking. When the holding body internal thread presses against the threaded sleeve external thread, the threaded sleeve rotates until the external and internal threads align. The fixing device connects the threaded sleeve to the holding body in a rotationally fixed manner and fixes the holding body transversely with respect to the longitudinal axis.
Precision Torque Control Positive Lock Nut
A torque control fastener system having a fastener nut, a helical wire insert, and a shaft, where the nut and helical wire insert have unique hardness and coefficient of thermal expansion relationships that produce improved performance.
RADIAL FLOW PLUNGER LIFT LUBRICATOR
A plunger lift lubricator having an internal bypass configuration which enables a plunger to be reliably captured and while still allowing the flow of fluid up through the lubricator before the fluid is directed radially outward and down the internal bypass passageways. The lubricator can comprise both an upper flow path and a lower flow path and can be configured such that a plunger can travel all the way up to shift a valve in the plunger if needed.
MULTI SEGMENT WIND TURBINE BLADE JOINT BUSHING
A joint bushing that accommodates the dithering and sliding in multi segment wind turbines. The joint bushing includes a self-lubricating liner that is a composite system incorporating woven Polytetrafluoroethylene fibers intermixed with structural reinforcement fibers in a composite matrix. The composite system provides sufficient life without requiring re-lubrication.

CAPTIVE FASTENER
A captive fastener having multiple components selectively biased to improve durability, including a primary body, an actuator, a plurality of locking pins, a biasing system, a bushing, and an actuator biasing member. Application of a predetermined force to an actuator proximal end longitudinally displaces the actuator from an actuator first position to an actuator second position and forces a cam leading edge against a biasing member to retract a pin from an extended position to a retracted position that does not interfere with a thread pattern formed in the fastener. The actuator biasing member returns the actuator to the actuator first position upon removal of the predetermined force allowing the biasing member to bias the pin away from the retracted position.
Fastening structure
A fastening structure inserts a threaded rod 11a of a bolt 11 through a fixing hole 12a of a to-be-fixed member 12 in a manner such that an end portion of the threaded rod protrudes from the fixing hole, and screwing a machine screw 15 with a proper torque into a nut 14 which is provided on the end portion via a washer 13. The washer has an inclined surface 13c formed on a first side 13b which faces the nut, and has a flat surface formed on a second side 13d. The machine screw is screwed into the nut in a direction such that an axis is orthogonal to the inclined surface 13c. The first side (the inclined surface) and the second side of the washer have a different surface roughness, and the first side has a smaller coefficient of friction than the second side.
SELF-ACTUATING FASTENER ASSEMBLIES
The present invention provides a self-locking fastener assembly moveable from a stowed condition to a deployed condition. The assembly has a threaded insert, a nut, and a shear pin. The threaded insert has opposed ends, a first set of external threads, and a first radially extending through hole. The nut has an upper surface and an outer wall defining a central lumen. A second set of threads are disposed on an inner surface of the nut and engage the first set of threads. The nut has a second radially extending through hole. The shear pin is disposed in the second radially extending through hole when the assembly is in the stowed condition, and the shear pin extends through both the first radially extending through hole and the second radially extending through hole when the assembly is in the deployed condition, the shear pin being moveable from the stowed condition to the deployed condition upon rotation of the nut.

Precision torque control positive lock nut
A combination positive locking and prevailing torque fastener system including a fastener nut, a helical wire insert, a nut cap, and a shaft. The nut cap is longitudinally movable from an engaged position to a disengaged position such that in the engaged position the fastener nut and the nut cap are rotationally locked, and in the disengaged position the nut cap rotates independent of the fastener nut.
